Kadett C City. Lovely car and practical too. It gets a lot of looks too. You can also get a coupe, but the City is so much more practical.
The car is very reliable. You practically only have to look out for rust. It's also surprisingly cheap, thanks to the Dutch oldtimerregeling. If you don't drive it during the winter, the taxes are only a quarter of the normal taxes. If the car is 40 years old, you don't have to pay any taxes at all.

It also handles better than most other cars.
Might keep that in mind, thanks! Gotta do the first things first though and that's getting my driver's license, and get along with the Mercedes B Class where I take drivers lessons in. I've driven in my dad's Peugeot 406 a while ago and realized how uncomfortable the seats in the Mercedes are.

gmt400s bend hoods really easily too in my experience. the only way to really avoid it is to keep the hood hinges lubed

1 wall + 1 wall = tunnel?
Or run a engine with a timing chain. Or timing gears if you're crazy rich.
Not all engines with timing chains are better than engines using belts for the same task. For example Mercedes M116 and M117 V8s eat timing chain guides every 100k miles, and failure to replace them all ($45), the tensioner ($376), and the chain ($53), will result in catastrophic failure of the engine. I have seen 116 V8s with the camshafts blown out of their towers as a result of this.
The tensioner is the real bastard here as it is considered disposable and there is no substitute for the genuine article as the genuine part is the only one that has a check valve to prevent oil backflow. I'll be selling my 420SEL in March to pass that job onto someone else. It's $1700 to have a shop do it, or 20 hours of my time plus quite a bit of beer.

sqrt(2)=There is only one god
4x4=repent your sins to the lord
22+1= Jesus Christ is your savior
His homework is now complete, and is just a primer for what we can expect from a post Betsy Devos American school. Fun fact, some schools teach kids that humans and dinosaurs walked the earth at the same time because you know, the universe is only 6000 years old.
Sorry guys, couldn't resist cracking jokes about how terrible most of our education system is, though that last bit about the dinosaurs sadly isn't a joke - there are schools that actually spew that shit (because in those educators eyes, evidence based science, Carbon-14, and evolution don't exist).
Added a dab of carbon fiber to my car (it's real c/f replacements for the stock emblems).

That was a literal last second Halloween decoration. The morning of the day I thought I should do something, so I folded up a piece of paper and cut them out.
Everyone said they liked it, so I'll probably do it again this year.

You's asking way too much with the issues listed, homie. Probably looking at a whole new wiring harness with meticulous electrical testing. Good luck.

Man.. I'd love a Datsun. Something about those is just.. mm. Kills me to see all the V8 swaps. I6 is a cool power plant.
you can buy frame rail kits for them. I wouldn't spend $7500 on something that needs welding to get back on the road though
[editline]14th February 2017[/editline]
thats even considering that cad is basically monopoly money
I'd maybe look at it if it were $1200. it's in pretty good shape other than that by the looks of it. at $7500 it better come with that flat bed and a good time
