What are these worth? Its a GT with near no rust [thumb]http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/u423/Lawblind/D04FA1D0-C8FD-42AC-8514-AD41824882C6_zps56dsckry.jpg[/thumb]
HOLY SHIT. BUY IT. A gen 1 Celica is like 10-15 grand in restored condition. If you don't want it I do :v:
Finally got the thermostat changed on the Caddy, or so I thought. My buddy was helping me and I had him actually slot it in while i grabbed the pieces to hold it in place. he grabbed the old thermostat and put it in. After reassembling it, I looked onto my passenger side seat, where I'd left the new one, and saw it sitting there. I didn't have the heart to tell him he fucked up because he was so proud he helped.

2001 Toyota Yaris 1.0 in Gold :smug: 2001 Ford Focus Zetec 1.6 in Moondust Silver 2000 VW Golf GTTDI 2.0 in Reflex Silver (never ran that on the road, needed too much for the MOT) 2013 Ford Focus Zetec S 1.0 Ecoboost in Panther Black Currently running a 160 BHP remap on my Fiesta. Not sure where to go after the Fiesta, my only real choice is to go back and get another car from the dealership (various fine print issues). I can go Ford or Mazda, but I'm thinking Ford Focus 1.5 Ecoboost. I wouldn't mind an MX-5 but I'd never be able to afford the insurance.

So now that most of you guys have said your car lineup's. Who here has security questions regarding vehicles?
Me! Hook me up with the best god damn security system money can buy. Or methods. Trucks get stolen waaaaaaay too much around me, and after putting so much into my truck I'll be damned if I'll let some tweaker get his grubby paws on it
My secret is: you can't steal a vehicle that you can't and won't start! (But ebulweezul u can use a tow truck FUCK OFF ) But honestly, I've been trying to get my dad to up the security on his garage for a while because of similar. A simple set of motion activated lights, a thicker door (people door), etc. Maybe even cameras. There's at least 40k worth of tools easily accessible to yank, as well as the possibility of someone just busting in the flimsy side door and keying our cars and the like, if they felt like being dicks. Considering my dads cuda is a orginal, that'd destroy the value. I really don't want that to happen, it'd probably in turn kill him. Does that count as car security?
I don't think I've ever owned anything with good brakes
I have always loved Chrysler brakes. Going from a Ford with okay-ish brakes to my Charger was amazing the difference it made doing the paper route.
I got bored and decided to list all the vehicles I've owned... i think im still leaving out 4 Vehicle list -cars-
In order of possession (including the ones I learned to drive on): 2002 Subaru Baja (Dad sold right after I got my permit. I only drove it once or twice) 2000 Chevy Malibu LT (Mom's car I learned to drive on, was totaled my senior year in highschool after I got my license; my only wreck) 2001 Chrylser Sebring Lxi (Dad's car at the same time as the Malibu which he gave to me before he broke the crank) 2005 Ford Freestyle (Bought from my company, traded it in for the Charger) 2008 Dodge Charger SXT AWD (Current) 1987 Toyota Pickup (Should get tomorrow, paid the check for it yesterday finally) And I think I've decided on getting a 2010/2011 Ford Taurus SHO to replace the charger as my route and fun car.
Ive considered putting a disconnect in the fuel shutoff solenoid on my truck, atleast for the times when it sits dormant for a month or so, but I havent, because I think there are a lot more appealing targets for theft around than a slow, beat up, 500k mile, rusting 80s pickup with a totally inconspicuous grungy old camper on the back. [editline]20th February 2017[/editline] Bike shiny again. I had my fiance strip the paint off the tank emblems, I was going to repaint them, but it turned out there was a ballin goldish coating underneath, so a little polish and a coat of clear, and back on they went.

A squeak in my clutch started a few months ago, and it gets bad to the point my music cant cover over it. The pedal also gets hard as fuck to push down randomly, and the squeak gets worse the longer I drive/the more I use it. I have a 2008 Mazdaspeed 3 and looked around forums for the problem but it could really be anything. It's from the pedal itself, not behind the firewall, so I'm guessing its a lubrication issue in some linkage or bushing. The clutch itself isnt slipping too, so I think its fine. I guess I'm blogposting, but damn, could I fix this squeak myself? I've never done any serious work other than taking off the wheels, installing lowering springs, and replacing the brakes. I'm afraid that it might be more complex than the stuff I've done before.

Or better yet get you the phone app for vehicle tracking.. can follow them and blast their stupid ass.

Never have answered a security question regarding a vehicle. I'm not concerned

What about general theft proof switches and shit? thought about disconnecting the arm for the door lock and making it only unlock off a key fob
