You can get as crazy as you want with theft-proof switches, honestly. A starter kill after the ignition harness (so it's not easy to find when hotwiring at the switch) that's only triggered by some combo like defrost on, press in cigarette lighter, hold brake, and turning the key or something is pretty solid. It's cheap and effective if you know how to wire it all in to 'look factory' and stuff.
Well I might as well post my car list. 1992 Hyundai Scoupe 1995 Holden VR Commodore Wagon 1998 Holden VT Commodore 2001 Holden VX Commodore 2002 Holden VX Commodore 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Looks like I broke the pattern with the lancer and to be honest I want to go back to my driving roots with a 2 door coupe, as such im currently sourcing something ive always wanted. 1998 Nissan Skyline R34 GTT
probably couldn't keep up. Either a rod broke and while it was opened the piston hit it. Or the pistons were moving too fast and the valves couldn't keep up, resulting in a piston hitting the valve. [editline]20th February 2017[/editline] It didn't melt, it just snapped. Must have been quite ugly inside
Hey, sometimes you have to destroy something to create something (like combustion of gasoline to create power). It wasn't ugly inside, it was beautiful chaos. Your valve stem is art now.
Something something coke bottle motors
well when fuel is roughly $7.50 a gallon, I appreciate the small engine size and good economy. all I've done to my car to get 160 BHP out of my car is a remap and a K&N air filter (which isn't necessary, but I got it on the cheap through my old work). tiny, boosted engines are the future, and they're great fun. I think you can get around 200 BHP out of the 1.5 ecoboost that Ford produce. don't need big engines for big power nowadays yo
200 BHP

Big power
Bongland is scary
Okay so I ship for basic training on monday, when I finish that and AIT (about 27 weeks total) I get $10k of my bonus up front, I'm going to be state side and I've narrowed down my choices for cars to buy to three, a Miata, a Toyota GT86, Mustang with the ecoboost 4 banger, or an extended cab 4x4 manual tacoma because that's the only fucking 4x4 you can buy with a manual anymore. All are within a hundred bucks of each other the way I have them optioned (base with security package) . edit:or a smart car because german RR manual turbo, basically a porche
Bongland is scary
Twisty turny narrow countryside roads. Puts some hair on your chest going WOT on those, unless it's a shopping trolley subcompact normie car.
Bongland is scary
generally most european production cars will be putting out less than 100 BHP, in displacement from 1.0 to 1.8 generally in petrol form, and from 1.6 to 2.0 in diesel form. get a car with a sorted chassis, and 200 BHP on a good UK B-road (not a main road), and you'd be hard pressed to have more fun on a public road.

in the UK if you go into the dealership and get a Smart car, there is no option for you to own the car. you can't buy it outright and you can't take out hire purchase finance, you have to hand the car back. car finance is an odd thing. at least with PCP finance (that I have), you have options. you can take the car back and walk away if you're within the agreed terms, you can trade it in against a new car, you can buy the car, or you can sell it and pay off the last payment.

so my sister got in an accident today, she somehow managed to swerve over in the left lane and hit a mercedes SUV of some sort head on each going around 80k/h, she was in a 308. she walked away, nothing broken or anything. 10/10 best frenchie shitbucket

You don't want to be both the guy who spent his signing bonus on a mustang, AND the guy with the shouldahadaV8 mustang. Existence would be hard.
the only redeeming feature on a taco is the wheel wells
