If I were you I'd consider the Outback wagon next to it. Pretty much the same car except much more practical.
I've already got an Outback Sport wagon. Plus, they want an extra grand for that one, despite it having 50k more miles.
I have an 08 Honda civic, and am lookin to replace my radio with something that can use Android Auto. Does anyone have any suggestions/recommended buyers?
I'd hate to bump this, but it got kinda pushed out with the end of the page. I'm also looking to possibly clean my headlights, anyone have preferences on products? Was hearing Meguiars is decent.
clean them however you like, but put a uv resistant clear coat on them when you're done or you'll have to do it again in 2 weeks [editline]1st October 2016[/editline] I've always just wet sanded them with micromesh personally

What you can also do is polish them til they're perfect, then cover them in clear vinyl. The vinyl takes a LONG time to fade and haze.
So, back to this whole looking for a new vehicle thing. Any recommendations on a relatively cheap ($15k top), AWD/4x4 vehicle that is small enough to comfortably be capable of doing a paper route? I was thinking maybe a used F150/Chevy 1500, but I think that'll be a bit too long.
I've been seeing a lot of suggestions to use tools to help, but if I do it by hand it should be fine, right? The tools I have may be too old to work anymore, and I haven't replaced them.

So funky story. My 08 Civic EX is considered an 8th gen, which uses 9006 bulbs for low beams. My right headlight low beam isn't turning on, so I went and bought one. Turns out it uses 9005. Okay, weird, but whatever. I go back, buy the right one, and the guy is confused why i get white light when the bulb is yellow. Turns out the car owner before me put in some aftermarket parts. I have no idea what it is/does, and my headlight still won't turn on.

I put 9005 bulbs in my EF with a very very slight modification to the bulb. Easily doubles the light output and nice unused highbeam bulbs are free from the junkyard out of any car without DRLs.
Going to view a $1700 massive RV with a Dodge 440. Guy claims it's had all upper gaskets replaced, new radiator, and a new carb. Major problem points to look out for?
Can anybody in here run a full VIN check for me? Really don't want to pay $30 for a carfax.
Can anybody in here run a full VIN check for me? Really don't want to pay $30 for a carfax.
There's usually a Vin checker on /o/.
Grenadiac was p cool.
Fuses are fine. So turns out there is definitely an aftermarket piece that's giving my civic HID lights Bad news is that it's snapped near the pin. I'm going to a friend of the family whose a mechanic to look and see if he can fix that. If not, I'm going to just revert back to the regular car lights.
Grenadiac was p cool.
Why haven't we heard from him yet? What did you do to him??
Why haven't we heard from him yet? What did you do to him??
I left him at a flea market. He wanted to buy two of everything.

Only in texas would that happen
I thought Ldesu scored himself a real QT but then I read back a page :[ I got my goal done of having the engine bay painted by the end of my vacation. I took the carpet out, chipped out all the crap stuck to the floor, etc. I'll have to wire wheel the floor down in the future and seal it up. I was pleased to find out that the entire rear quarter window comes out as an assembly. So that means the rotted rail on the one side where the gasket sits isn't part of the car, it's part of the window assembly. Maybe the parts car will have one in better shape! Otherwise with it out of the car it'll be easier to clean up, still. Brought the seats into the living room, lol. I did a thing with the paint and stuff. I seriously need to get another e36 to fuck around with, or a boring cheap car on the side.
I bought a few things to put on the windshield this weekend
Pictures
What do you plan on doing to the floor exactly? I'm gonna start working on the Pinto again sometime soon, and the floor is pretty rough, so I just want some tips on that.

Major problem points to look out for?
Follow-up on this, went and saw it. The new carb is lovely, no more thermoquad. It ran for seconds, but there wasn't enough gas in the tank to get suction. I'm almost certainly buying it tomorrow. Any last minute advice on the 440 from our mopar guys? That is, our mopar guys who don't use exclusively /6s.
Yes
Mh. Good car recommendation. Thanks! Also, I got out some tools and did some things today. [t]http://i.imgur.com/Xxeu7Lp.jpg[/t] It's time for new shoes all around, new front caliper pistons, and a crap ton of brake cleaner.
