for commercial vehicles there are class a, class b, class c, and class d

Class C – Any Single vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating of less than 26,001 pounds.
Vehicles designed to transport sixteen or more passengers, including the driver.
Vehicles used in the transportation of hazardous materials which are required to be placarded under the Hazardous Materials Transportation Act.
class d is just a catch all to cover anything that requires a cdl but isn't covered by the other 3 classes.
plus the endorsements system for cdls
H – Authorizes the driver to drive a vehicle transporting Hazardous Materials
K – Restricts the driver to vehicles not equipped with air brakes
T – Authorizes driving doubles and triple trailers
P – Authorizes driving vehicles carrying passengers
N – Authorizes driving Tank vehicles
X – Represents a combination of hazardous materials and tank vehicle endorsements
S – Restricts the driver to school buses being operated for the purpose of transporting pupils to and from school or to school related functions.

the weirdest other license you can get is the restricted motorcycle license which allows you to ride a motorcycle and nothing else. plus there's stuff like hardship licenses which allow people who normally wouldn't be issued a license like underage people or people with a recent DUI conviction to do things like get to and from work or go to the hospital as needed if they can prove that they have health issues that's getting them in and out of the hospital

here in wonderful best dakota, anyone can get a learners permit at 14, drivers ed or not. that means you can drive anywhere in your state in the daytime if theres a liscense holder over 18 in the passenger seat. Then after 9 or so month of that (shorter if you do take drivers ed) you can get a restricted minors permit, which is basically the same except you can drive alone and out of state. Then at 16, bam full license.
Class 1 is normal DL, class 2 is motorcycle only, and class 3 is car and motorcycle.

Does anyone here have any experience with karting? I've been looking at getting into it (competitively/racing) and was looking for some kind of resource or guide to starting. There's an event at a nearby small track in a couple weeks, but they don't have arrive and drive karts, but I might swing by to see if I can get some advice.

Watch carsandcameras channel on youtube, atleast if youre interested in building or working on carts. If youre just gonna buy/rent one I guess its a moot point.
I guess their entire channel could be summed up in three steps.
1. find crappy old kart
2. slap on a predator engine and torque converter
3. drive it fast enough to break it and/or yourself

I need to get a picture of my friend's dorm room, the entire suite is pretty much filled with car parts everywhere. There's a whole exhaust system from one of the guys' golfs and his rear bumper as well, a new front for another one's STI and at least two sets of wheels. That's just the stuff I can name off the top of my head. :v:

Eh, that was nice, but it kinda seemed to me like they keep slapping cool parts on it, but in the end just make it more complicated and not much better. Now the 670cc v-twin cart, that thing would be worth almost any injury caused by it. Thats on a whole new level of way too much power on tiny things.

when I was buying my bike, I texted/emailed at least 4-5 ads that were 1-3 days old with no replies or results. the only guy who would actually get back to me was a 20 day old ad that was the bike I ended up buying.
at least one of the first 5 guys texted me back 2 weeks later saying that the bike was sold. how thoughtful of him.

And that's without touching on the that fact those licenses only let you drive stuff with a max of 9 seats, and only very light trailers.
