I havent posted an update on the camper in a while. Im afraid if I do, serj might come to my house and beat my head in with a framing hammer for doing such shitty woodworking. On the better looking side of things, I got my stereo put in today. Ill mount the second speaker tomorrow. Question for clutch or another car audio wizard: do car speakers sound better if they are enclosed on the backside, like a box? [editline]31st October 2016[/editline] oh yeah, and I finally replaced my old cranking battery with a big ass deep cycle. That, and the solar panel should keep my camper happy and powered indefinitely, or at least until one of my cheap chinese parts stops working. [t]https://i.imgur.com/iBOk8Kk.jpg[/t]

its fucked is what it is.
Snip
Its a piston rod cover. Somehow. Somehow. this thing fucking exploded off his piston, on the highway, and he didn't notice for about 3 miles when for some reason he began to overheat and spill coolant.
Piston rod... cover?? What?
This is a question for those of you that know more about car alarms than I do; My SUS has a Viper 300+ installed. It has the starter kill, all the options. It doesn't chirp when i arm it, and makes no noise when the alarm goes off. I really don't know much about these systems. The speaker is mounted under the hood, i see no wiring issues. The manual doesn't seem to mention a silent setting, maybe i missed it. Any ideas?

I searched in the install manual, thats where all the info on settings are. There's a setting to have the horn or chirp, i'm thinking it may be set to horn and not wired into the horn.
The guy who was supposed to fix my generator for a case of beer and a steak never showed up and his phone is offline, so I've made an appointment with the local generator professionals to bring he RV in and get it at least diagnosed for $87. Hopefully it's something really stupid like mice chewed a wire or something and it'll be fixed in that initial hour. I'm at my wit's end without power.
Ill bet one copy of "my summer car" that its the coil Any takers? [editline]31st October 2016[/editline] Really though, good luck
It's easy to forget the US is massive and has a much heavier reliance on our highway network and personal vehicles. It kind of needs to be easier for Americans to get licenses because we literally need them to commute to work and school and stuff
Yes, of course, with those kind of distances you'll obviously need to drive a small dump truck or bus... [editline]31st October 2016[/editline] Also, what's going on guys? I've been offline a couple days while moving into a new apartment. Finally decided to get some aux lights on the Saab and the van. Not sure which yet.

Send dick pics. I have two of these basturds and they are the most fun you can have with your cloths on.
i have three of those sitting in my garage, all split apart though.
Those as in mopeds or as in fa 50s. I would like to honestly see more pics of stuff.
Send dick pics. I have two of these basturds and they are the most fun you can have with your cloths on.
My minibike and giant gasoline fueled tire fires with microwaves and guns would be my two picks for must fun with pants on.
Those as in mopeds or as in fa 50s. I would like to honestly see more pics of stuff.
I should help my grandfather clean out his shop. There's like 6 mopeds in pieces in it.
Goodnight sweet prince
Bleh!
Ordered a new timing belt and water pump, along with the pulleys and what not. Hopefully I can replace those without fucking up badly :v:
well after inadvertently hooking the unfused circuit of my new multimeter i got specifically to check this i have determined that my starter died earlier today went to turn it over, completely dead, called a friend for a ride to class and ride back, walked over to walmart, got a multimeter, checked the voltage, saw 12.71v, realized that the starter wasn't even trying to start my car
For the viper, check the brown wire at the brain, or the red wire at the siren itself. That gets 12v when it chirps and 12v when goes off. On the same idea, make sure the siren is grounded well, sometimes the installer can be lazy and just grounds it with a ring right where the siren mounts and it corrodes. It usually has a silent setting, but usually will be making noise when the alarm goes off. On the same token it has a valet mode probably, but then the alarm itself just won't go off. DP.. on the Moped you gotta make it with multiple pieces! See how there's a "cap" and "sides" like a cylinder, kinda? Template it out and sew it up ;) Also, goddamnit 3M has 2 part numbers for their panel bond adhesive. One if 38315 and it comes in like 50mL tubes. And the 08115 comes in 200mL tubes. I own the gun for the 200mL tubes, guess what size I accidentally bought on Ebay last night because I was too lazy to check which cartridge I had in the garage, and too stupid to read how many mL it was. :v: Oh well.
DP.. on the Moped you gotta make it with multiple pieces! See how there's a "cap" and "sides" like a cylinder, kinda? Template it out and sew it up ;)
Noooooo no sewing. Not this guy, I bet it is simple but I could barely handle just the ATV seat.
no sewing required, you need to put more heat in the vinyl so it'll get nice and stretchy
Since it's getting colder and the bike has started running a little rough, I decided to go ahead and check up on what the 10k mile maintenance I need to do on my bike is, assuming that the previous owner(s) did nothing. I guess this weekend I'm: Adjusting the valves Cleaning the air filter Replacing the brake lines and fluid Replacing the fuel lines Replacing the plugs Synchronizing the carbs and changing the oil. Thankfully, for all of this, you don't need much more than a socket set and a pair of vicegrips, plug whatever supplies you need for the job.
RIP in-tank fuel pump. 1992-2016. After 430000km I pushed you one too many times with a nearly empty tank and you finally called it quits at the Chevron. Now not only do I gotta get it towed, I gotta have the pump changed AND find a shop that's not a fucking pussy when it comes to welding in a new piece of straight pipe for the rusted out crossbrace.
The Alabama pipeline exploded again, be ready for a gas shortage and price hikes in the southeast. I will check the lines and grounds over. They did a crappy job mounting the brain, my foot panel is buldging from it and i may have to do something there. I checked about valet mode, it's off. Right now, my remote battery is dead. It's a pain to start the car.
