[QUOTE=DPKiller;51356648]I have to report.
After running now that tank of gas completly out and let my truck die, I have found out that the 2stroke gas that I got for free gave alittle bit of a peformance gain (possibly helped my ol worn out rings) that or it was like 92+ Octane (Which I dont even think my truck could even get any more peformance out of)
It did not smoke nor missfire at any time and my exhaust pipe is not dripping of oil but had a nice 2joke smell to it when it was running.
10/10 would do again.
[editline]12th November 2016[/editline]
After thinking about it is probably beneficial to your rings to run a mix. I could only imagine with a worn motor that it would possibly boost compression.
More tests are in order.[/QUOTE]
I researched adding 2 stroke oil after reading your story.
A lot of people report long term success in 200-300:1 mixtures. Small HP gains, 2-3mpg gains, especially helpful on warn engines.
They say a specific 2-stroke oil (synthetic or something) is best to use on catted vehicles to reduce cat issues. Other than that, long term, it's pretty healthy.

"Rebuilt title"
Generally, they do that when it is so damaged it needs to be towed from the scene. My Impreza has been in 2 accidents, first one $2k damage, second $1500, the title is still clean and not rebuilt.
That Jeep looks really clean, but needs a good checkover where it was hit.

Had it not been a shitty fall day in that video, I would have asked if you were in the Florida panhandle. I saw an SRT4 that looked identical to yours and it was MEAN sounding. By far the loudest and growliest 4 cylinder I've heard in a while.

They're expected to last about 150k kms in early 2000 Saabs.
Thinking about looking for a truck. Seen a few really decent dodge rams, 98-00. Are the magnums worth anything or should I steer clear? Not convinced I need to spend the extra dough on a cummins. Probably look to buy around next summer. Just doing my research now.
I like the chevys from around the same time frame.
Getting the juicy 5.3 would be a nice bonus. Plus they made more power than the magnums at the time even the 4.8's beat them. :v:
someone do that roadkillie thingy again

The direct links dont work anymore, sorry. I think they caught on.

I like this.
And I wonder if you could put a 318 or 383 in it instead.

94-02 dodge truck master reporting in here.
Magnum motor trucks are tanks, my junkyard told me that they'll sell cores for every engine EXCEPT magnum motors because nobody buys remans. They just never go.
Power is pretty good with the 5.9L, but working off of updated 1966 LA architecture dont expect the greatest fuel mileage. 15-18mpg is what I'd guess, closer to 15.
The trucks themselves are my favorite truck of all time, idk maybe it was because when I was a baby one of the few ways to put me to sleep was to go for a ride in my dads 1996 1500 haha
Theres no major flaws to really look out for, the 4x4/center axle disconnect acts up every now and then but otherwise the main killer is people driving them into the ground and not changing stuff out (balljoints and the sort.... rust)
You cant go wrong with the gas trucks, but the diesels... oh baby. They're a league of their own. Starting them up just sounds like victory and smells like 'murrica
Be prepared to dump copious amounts of money into them because its stupid easy to make big power.
Really easy to work on too.
If you want something that will last a lifetime and get 26+ mpg go with the 94-98 12 valve. If you want a few more modern anemities and a more street friendly engine, 98-02 24v. Gets slightly less mileage but the electronic tuner is convient for changing the engine to the task you're doing.
I outline the diesels in the OP. I've been through these trucks top to bottom so if anything goes wrong I'll be able to help address it.
My only reservation with a diesel is paying that bro tax
Got an electrical gremlin in the Blazer. I think its in the visor lights. But, conveniently, my battery is dead again after the first cold night. Think the battery is still under warrantly so I'm going to go for the replacement regardless.
[editline]12th November 2016[/editline]
Was going to pull the fuse for my suspicion, but it turns out its grouped with all sorts of other shit, so thats going to happen. Battery replacement is my best option if under warranty (after I charge and test it again)

I cant figure a way to download them, without resorting to specialized software, and Im sure we all know that diving into the cesspit of "finding software for windows" means either I'd better break out my wallet, or that Ill be getting a virus.
Lmao found a 98 ram 2500 at a dealer near Tacoma for $25,000. The mileage is unlisted

I know people who have bought 2005 Ram SRT10s for less than that.
My new wheels, barring any unforseen problems.

Has anyone swapped a V8 into a Civic?
Oh God, they'd have to make it RWD too.
Fuck it, a Slant Six into a CRX.

I have read about someone converting a CRX to RWD. But goddamn, even the CRX is tiny for a Leaning Tower of Power.

Managed to head down to the track again, this time for a regional karting club's final two races (first was today, next is tomorrow). I think I'm going to buy a kart over the winter secondhand and race their series next season. I didn't do too bad once I started to get a little closer to the limits of the kart. My final time ended up being only about a second off the fastest guy there, although I didn't reach that until after qualifying. The race tomorrow is a 90 minute endurance race, so hopefully I'll do alright there. Have some pictures and a webm.
