Holy shit your grass is GREEN and long. [editline]13th November 2016[/editline] I guess it's true about what they say. Grass is greener on the other side.
End of day 1, didn't get too much done as I'm trying to package and photograph everything that's worth a damn, 10 bucks here, 20 bucks there. It all adds up. I've already sold lotsa small parts for good money, there was even this guy who bought the rear window motors and switches for 150 euro because he couldn't find them anywhere else :v: I vacuumed the interior for selling it, but it's actually pretty mint. Almost feel bad for tearing it up
how do you find the a3? i am considering a povvo spec 14/15 one in a few months for something a bit more upmarket than the golf i've got the now
I can't find fault with it. I've driven many cars and test drove a lot before I bought the A3. The A3 was the only one I fell in love with the moment I got in it. Nothing else compares so far. It's a perfect drive in every way. I'd still prefer an S3 ofc or even an RS3 but I don't have that much money! @metallics That was taken in Cheddar Gorge!
So i did a thing. Got a hell of a fucking deal on it though.
I have read about someone converting a CRX to RWD. But goddamn, even the CRX is tiny for a Leaning Tower of Power. [editline]13th November 2016[/editline] But man would it scream
There's a stock AWD EF Wagon, people also jig up CR-V trailing arms and convert the standard Civic/Integra TA's to have the hubs in them. There's a solid few EK/DC/EG AWD conversions with B series platforms and some even H2B. The weak part is the transfer case on the CRV trans but you can just cap off the front axle holes, toss axle ends in the front hubs and run it RWD. There's also a SR20 RWD Integra somewhere and a good few V8 tubed out EF's. This guy related to Hush Performance is working on a few cars, one of which is a AWD converted EF hatch.

Anyone else watch Petrolious? Their stuff is amazing, my god. This and the FJ40 vid is my favorites.

I saw that miata a month or so ago. Too bad I was so hungover I couldn't properly form words.
Managed to head down to the track again, this time for a regional karting club's final two races (first was today, next is tomorrow). I think I'm going to buy a kart over the winter secondhand and race their series next season. I didn't do too bad once I started to get a little closer to the limits of the kart. My final time ended up being only about a second off the fastest guy there, although I didn't reach that until after qualifying. The race tomorrow is a 90 minute endurance race, so hopefully I'll do alright there. Have some pictures and a webm.
Where do you live that it's still barely warm enough race karts? Everything around here basically ended last month. I guess some garages will still sneak some day sessions with their Porsche's and such at some tracks, but for the most part, New England is officially in too-cold-to-race season.
its still 50-60 degrees here. Today I rode my minibike down to the store to get more frozen pizzas, and on the way back they fell off my luggage rack and rolled into someones yard. I turned around and hunted them down, but I could have sworn I bought three pizzas, when I only found two...

What's yalls opinions on the Volvo V60? My grandma's looking for a new car and her requirements are as follows. AWD 300+hp Enough room for a walker as my Grandpa's PD progresses Fairly low to the ground. She's short and their current Cayenne is just too tall. Heated seats She generally sticks to luxury brands so I don't think she'll go for any Ford/Chevy/Toyota and the like.

When VWs and Volvos and New Fords and the like come in with these giant pieces of plastic across the bottom of the motor with 400 screws in them, I usually leave quite a few out when I put them back on. There is no reason to have that many screws. There's hardly a reason to have such a retarded amount of plating at all.
THOSE ARE MY FUCKING SCREWS NOT YOURS TO DECIDE TO JUST LEAVE OUT. /triggered/
