(Ignore the tiny stock mudflap, I still havent taken that off...)
Off the turbo its a 4" downpipe, into about 8' of 5 inch tubing, then into a 5" Y and out the sides. No muffler, and its actually quieter than the exhaust before!

Still have to find some tips (didnt want to buy new). They did an awesome job, couldn't have imagined it any different. It was a bit above budget at $1200 but worth every cent given the broken hunk of shit i had before. Doesn't hit or touch in any places either!

Just went out to my car after work and my roof and back window were frozen, but my windshield and side windows were still damp.

My coworker's from Gulfport too and this is his first real winter. He's not looking forward to driving his 2wd pickup for the first time in snow.

was he not here for january 2014?
I remember sometime in the mid 90's was the first time I ever saw snow stick to the ground. I had to be no older than like 8 so naturally I made a small snowman (wasn't enough snow for a big one) and put it in the freezer where it stayed for like 2 or 3 years before Hurricane Georges knocked out the power. that was the only time I ever saw snow stick until that polar vortex in 2014
I was under the impression that even in 2014 it didn't stick around that long. Doesn't really count as a "real winter" if it's not 5 months long :v:
Just got this yesterday! EEEEEEEE Brand new 2017!
So far, i'm in love

it stuck for a few days, long enough to disrupt normal operations and close down quite a few businesses and all of the schools
Well fuck you too Deer.

Prolly gonna let my insurance handle this, since I'm old enough for cheap insurance anyway, so better use it so I can get a new fender while paying second-to-none.
Got that stereotypical rusting front fenders belonging to that specific VAG platform (galvanized body, but not the doors and fenders), and the mechanism for adjusting that particular headlight horizontally was FUBAR anyway so it was jerry-rigged with spacers.
So I'm not pissed, just greatly annoyed.
I really wish I would have brought my gopro with today. It's been blizzarding since last night and the plows haven't really been doing a good job yet so far. I was tasked with taking our 82 2wd F-150 (don't worry too much, there's decent snow tires on it) to the dump to drop off garbage, which resulted in a fair amount of sick nasties. However, when I was getting on the highway, there was a guy ahead of me on the onramp getting on as well. Shortly after we both get on the highway, he decides to slam on his brakes and TURN AROUND ON THE FUCKING HIGHWAY. It's a 2 lane each way with grass median. Mind you, there was only a couple hundred feet between us (we were going 40 tops (I thought I left plenty of room but I wasn't expecting him to brake and fucking TURN AROUND)) but even still by the time I got to him he was perpendicular to the road and nearly blocking both lanes. I barely missed him and I also for the first time ever shot him a middle finger. I'm not sure what happened to him but I'm sure he got creamed. You'd think people living in Minnesota would be able to drive in the snow.

This is why I like driving straight piped vehicles, especially here in rural MN. Never had a problem with them in my 1500, or my Camaro, or the MR2. They hear you coming or you outright scare them off the road.

Hit em with your truck, call the cops, get a tag. Free deer.
From what I understand suicidal deer are more common in the central US, in Oregon they usually get the fuck out of the way and at the least do if you honk at them. Only came remotely near one with my car because I wasn't paying enough attention on a blind corner the first time driving after a 6 month suspension of sorts and it just decided to walk across the road at it's own pace instead of running like the rest.
Yes after my years in Ohio I can dodge a deer on a back country road with no headlights while blindfolded.

I was drooling at basically the same car when I was killing time waiting for the dealer to install winter tires on my 2016 TSI. There was even a few Golf Rs at the dealership, which was awesome.

Fuck she needs a wash.
Going to try Trans-X in my SUS. Think sitting so long ruined a seal, has delayed shifts when cold. Common issue on ones that sit a lot.
Going to also change the filter. Fluid looks brand new to me, but the filter looks original. I think they sucked the fluid out the top and overlooked the spin on filter.
Used Lucus Stop Slip in my diesel, improved shifts a lot. Had no slippage, just miscolored fluid.
I fucked up guys.
I told a friend I would inspect and find out why his rear diff was making noise. He bought all the shit to do a fluid change. His was stupidly low on fluid and we re sealed the cover and injected it with the magical sauce.
We then drive it around the block to see if it leaked sure enough it did but weirdly not from the gasket.... the front pinion seal. FFS.
After literally me spending 5 hrs on trying to get a 1 1/2" but off I finally examed the seal, bearing and all that shit.
Lets just say I noped the fuck out real quick and re assembled like I was never there. The bearing, race and everything is TRASHED. I can literally move the yoke about 1/8" in all directions.
I told him to pray and come with me to the junk yard one day for a new rear end and to keep 12$ quart fluid in her untill we find a replacment.

My brother hit a pregnant deer on the Oregon coast in a DA Integra a couple years ago. His hood, fender and core support were toast but was able to fix it in a weekend and a trip to pick n pull
Hey Slayer and/or other audio guys, what's the best CarPlay head unit with physical knobs and ff/rw/play/pause buttons, front USB port, and CD player? Preferably under $500 by a considerable margin.
I already have a Bluetooth Alpine head unit but it sucks balls and hates my iPhone, but it does mean I don't have to run a new microphone across.
I know nothing about car audio other than buying the last years higher end decks when they clear them out gets you a pretty good deal. I also hate my bluetooth deck but it's so nice to use, constantly have to pop the faceplate because it will freeze or all sorts of shit.
Does this look like a good buy?
