take a drive to the liquor store and pick up a bottle of gin
I like screwdrivers and beer ritas... so I think I got that down for the most part...
And sometimes jack.
I love gin but my brother and cousin usually black out when ever they touch it lol
I love gin it's like vodka but manlier
Piney fresh
I was super down about a month ago, and basically bought the Celicas as a feel better gift to myself. lol. On the flip side my roommate is down about a girl so be bought a Shiba Inu doge that he doesn't have time to take care of. :v:
I recommend the cars.
Surround yourself with a good group of friends. I've chopped out losers and ingrates from my life almost entirely, and I hang out with maybe like 4 main people consistently now. Not that I have a ton of reasons in life to be stressed, but it helps even with the little issues.
Speaking of the Celicas, though..
Tonight I went and did a little more "tinkering" and an hour later the engine fell out.

The front clip isn't removable on the facelift 2nd gen Celica, so I decided to leave the trans in and drop that out from the bottom instead of hoist the whole thing over the core support.

The clutch looked to be in good shape from what I could see. Very blue and pretty.

Better look at the engine mount damper. I think I'm going to swap subframes to keep the damper on the '78, here's hoping we'll be in business, I broke the bolts free and we'll crack on another day.

Notice in the right corner, just to the right of the oil-stick the block is also cracked. (The big hole is on the other side behind the exhaust manifold)
Bad car nerd admission time: I've never really liked Supras nor Skylines, and I still kind of think of Nissan and Kia as about equal in quality and reliability.
Embarrassing admission: I'm in love the with the Skyline from 2Fast 2Furious. I know it's lame, but I love the way it looks. It's my guilty pleasure.

Met a new friend at the local car show this weekend, he's the 2016 Shelby GT-350 sitting next to my car. I took some detail shots, including a picture of the custom pin striping he had at the show
For some reason my brain was trying to convince me the Shelby's wheels were turned in opposite directions and I was really fucking confused

Don't know all these damn words in english :v:
What year was your maxi?
Yeah, in English ITB is 'individual throttle body'. Usually accompanied by velocity stax ;)

Like clutch said, ITB = Individual Throttle Bodies. You've got 6 smaller butterflyvalves/throttle bodies, while most cars just have a single larger throttle body.
Bad pic of the damage on the other side

Oh man does this look clean.

It needs a turbo though. :(
So close.
Just got done a little while ago pulling the trans from an 04 Infinity G35 to change the rear main.
When you have a lift and transmission jack life becomes a bit easier. Alldata said to pull the lower and upper oil pans, I said fuck that and did a trick. Rolled outta the shop way better then it was.
It also had a "vacuum leak" on one of the resonator boxes for the intake, which in fact simply was the little resonator box below it was just GONE. Couldnt source a replacment so 2 strips of Duct tape and some Right stuff and it's golden.
200 Smackers for that one. Started it Friday too.
Well I think you've convinced me to never buy an audi
but how would i appreciate the car while it's working if things like these didn't happen
Edit:
plus i got this car for a super fuckin good price so it's whatever
Well I think you've convinced me to never buy an audi

What does AA do when they are down and sad?
Take a drive around town braping around? Sit on your tailgate on a starlit night and wonder where you went wrong?
I'm almost to the point I just wanna live out of my truck for a few weeks due to family shit.
Miata, rock&roll, top down, drive like a manic. And later booze.
My buddy bought a 2015 Audi 4 door with a supercharged V8, no idea what model but it was pretty slick. By 50000km it needed a complete wiring harness ($5000), rotors and brakes ($2500), axle shafts, and one more thing. He didnt even beat on it. Thankfully for waranty he didnt have to pay for anything.
And on topic of what I do when I'm down, I usually beat on my truck on the backroads, play some video games, go to a comedy show with a friend, treat myself to a nice meal, or go to the gym and then the sauna.
Why the fuck would you need a new complete wiring harness
Oh man I can't wait to fail inspection next month
Well I think you've convinced me to never buy an audi
That's why you do a single-mass flywheel&clutch swap if tuning and/or hooning them.
Dual-mass is for those who wants to pretend they like driving stickshift.
