Why on earth do people try to run across the highway at night? Second time this week they had to shut down the highway I take to work because someone got hit and killed.
They need more pedestrian lights? That's usually the problem over here.
Kinda want a RWD car with leather seats for my next one. I was think a Falcon or Commodore because I want to own at least 1 car made in my own country. But people tell me V6's aren't fuel efficient so my question is how much more fuel does a V6 use over a 4 cylinder?
I had a v6 car (not a commodore but w/e) for a while that got 30 mpg. maybe I'm just easily impressed from driving trucks but I'd say it was pretty good for a 3600 pound car
V6's are perfectly capable of fuel efficiency
Alright, I need my boost back. Does any one know of a good way to test boost leaks? :v:
Could I just take a can of ether and spray around the intake pipes while revving it slightly? I can hear it leaking at 0 vac and won't go over 10psi. A little embarissing that my tuned and modded SRT-4 can't keep up with my tuned PT Cruiser.
A fog machine into the airfilter hose can do the trick in a pinch, but MAF sensors sometimes don't like that.

something like 7.5 or 8 liters per 100 km
The 3.6L Dodge Charger that weighs roughly 4200lbs gets 29-30mpg as well. At 300HP it's no slouch either.

Frankly the best part of that video is hearing the guys in the background calling the authorities and reporting it so they can get help/avoid a bigger accident.

It would actually be pretty cool to see an old Charger with a Pentastar. Get 34mpg or something in that. Haha.
Nah, I was talking about the 2013+

The third gen kinda looked like it... More so than now.
This was mine:

Over the rear wheels looks like the first gen 69-70 Chargers. Other than that it's like they took a Chrysler 300 LH car and put some Charger(ish) things on it.
The 2011 got the retro doors and taillights.

But now it's evolved into it's own platform.

I'm considering a VY/VZ Calais or V6 commodore and adding leather seats for my next car.
Doesn't anyone know if this is metal or grey plastic?

Also, what generally wrong with a car when it reaches 200,000 Kilometres odometer?

But the third design looks a lot better, it's a shame they didn't make it a coupe with flip out headlights.

Lol, mine was police model. The stock wheels look like this:

Ah, what could have been. I don't know if this is photoshopped or if there's a real 2 door charger concept kicking around somewhere but I like it and would have loved to see these on the road. Over time I've come to like the 4 door Chargers but it still feels weird to not even offer a 2 door version of a car bearing the name of arguably the most famous 2 door muscle car of all time.

generally nothing but you should do some preventative maintenance like changing the spark plugs, belts, air filter, fuel filter, maybe the pcv, and timing belt if it's got one. it's a good time to go ahead and inspect the suspension and replace any worn shocks or ball joints, replace the tires and brake pads, and do an alignment too.
also top off all the fluids and maybe do a full coolant flush if your coolant isn't the color its supposed to be
doing it all at home should cost you like $400 by US prices not including brake pads and tires because those vary massively and may have been recently replaced anyway.
My dad had just got his 2003 f150 back from the shop, the lean conditions and fuel pressure anomaliesturned out to be a leaky pcv and a pretty sizeable intake manifold gasket leak.
They need more pedestrian lights? That's usually the problem over here.
If you're walking across the highway at night and get hit by a car it might as well be considered suicide. There should be zero pedestrians on the highway.
Like 6 months ago, some poor bastard hit a jogger on the freeway at like 2am. That same poor bastard had hit another pedestrian on the freeway under the same circumstances like 2 years ago. Both times he was not at fault.
I know a guy who's made his way out of a lengthy jail sentence because he hit and killed a black guy wearing black clothes who was blind drunk on highway 90 while he himself had a BAC of .02
originally they were going to charge him with dui resulting in a death but he lawyered up and was able to prove that the guy he hit was at fault

I will eventually throw a seal at it. Right now it just sits and has all my gas rc airplanes in it.
Plus that stuff does not verge gaps very well.....
duct tape does the job until you can get your hands on a real seal. just don't leave it like that for the next 6 years because if you're anything like me you will
Is there any minivan other than the Mitsubishi Delica that would be good for offroading? I want one, but Delicas being right-hand drive and me being in Ontario don't mix very well when it comes to insurance.
Or should I just give up on my stupid dreams and get a pickup?
Lifted Chevy Astro or GMC Safari?
Can confirm, 2005 Dodge Caravan's are beasts in the mud if you put Blizzak's on them.
So my friend just recently put coilovers on his G35. Looks pretty good at that ride height and on 350z anniversary rims

all chrystler minivans until 2004 were offered with all wheel drive. see if you can find one and stick some big all terrains on it
otherwise, just get an k10 suburban like the rest of us
4 door stanced cars look so wrong when they're not totally bippu'd out
