Higher demand. People who want sedans don't think muscle cars, people who want muscle cars generally don't think sedans.
Yeah but, why do people want them more?
Yeah but, why do people want them more?
More appealing body style when you think speed. It's how it's been for a long time: fast cars had 2 doors, family cars and executive cars had 4. The only other types of cars with two doors are convertibles and supereconomy cars.
Its supposed to snow again tomorrow. Litterally Literally the worst winter in a decade.
2 doors are lame 4 is the only way to go

yeah those just happen to look like ass either way but like a nice ass in 2 door vs a hairy ass in 4 door
I'm kind of suspecting it's some computer. Dunno if PCM or ECU. I'm kinda leaning towards PCM since I had that weird Dashboard issue and transmission lockup a few weeks ago. Ever since then the car has been acting all sorts of batshit.
I just read a thing here about the very same codes you have and it came down to an open circuit, something chewed the wire on the guy inj #2 wire. Definitely pull your plenum next chance you get and follow ALL your wireing involving, or all of it, and see if something is cut or chewed. The code you have says open circuit (p0202 i think) that would lead me to belive a wire is cut.
Two door cars are the best cars [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/DnZ76Xb.jpg[/thumb]
A 4 door mustang prolly wouldnt look right, but I'm sure would get a cult following. Some cars are just meant to be 2 door. Others, should have never been 2 door in the first place.
Two door cars are the best cars [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/DnZ76Xb.jpg[/thumb]
Yeah, but my problem is they're more expensive than 4 door cars so I have to settle.
Yeah, but my problem is they're more expensive than 4 door cars so I have to settle.
That two door car I bought a year or so ago for 10 grand... Of course it's a deathtrap and who knows how much money I've dumped into it since, but that's besides the point :v:
nah [editline]17th December 2016[/editline] more doors the better tbh consider wagons for example [editline]17th December 2016[/editline] merc comets are a prime example of 4 being better than 2. at least until they ruined the whole lineup in 1968
I won't buy anything that isn't a wagon tbh Except maybe a cheap pickup truck some day for everything else. But only if it's stick.
[t]http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PZXQHyFBXig/T4mJ6T2cDhI/AAAAAAAAHSQ/TpftJUnrDIY/s1600/Plymouth+Fury+Wagon_67_1.jpg[/t] Mmm
I won't buy anything that isn't a wagon tbh Except maybe a cheap pickup truck some day for everything else. But only if it's stick.
manuals suck for trucks though, unless you're trying to build an offroader but then just buy a jeep cherokee or something.

Ford Pinto wagon only had 2 doors and I find it mighty tasteful.
Ford Pinto wagon only had 2 doors and I find it mighty tasteful.
Look, just because it barbecued people doesn't mean it was tasty. I like my meat rare.
Its supposed to snow again tomorrow. Litterally Literally the worst winter in a decade.
We got 6 inches today and its -20 wind chill. Say what you will about the nigh deadly driving conditions and frostbite, I like it. Its like turning the difficulty slide up to an entertaining level on real life. Also makes you seriously appreciate stuff like 4wd, floor heaters, and being inside.
I'm thinking about buying a little subie of some form either an outback or a forester for this winter. We moved up here and were not prepared for the snow lol my truck makes it fine and the jeep makes it fine but the jeep has no top and no heater and I'd prefer if my GF wasn't a popsicle while also preferring if she didn't have to drive the car that's one good throttle blip from being a fishtailing mess even on blizzaks. Anybody got any suggestions on what I should look for in a forester/outback cause really all I have any experience in as far as subaru goes is impreza's and while I'd like an impreza (so would she) none of the ones I've seen so far has passed the sniff test
Question for you all. If one's engine redlines at say 10-12,000 rpm or so, would it be possible to downshift into a low gear(first/second) at high speed (80-120kmh), WITHOUT destroying the engine?
Depends on the gearing

Why would you want to anyway?

Lets sat 1st gear maxxes out at 32mph, 2nd goes to 54, 3rd goes to 73, 4th goes to 100 and 5th goes to 160. If your traveling at 26mph you can slam that bitch in 1st (but wont be very beneficial unless you really just want to make noise / possibly break things) but slamming her into 2nd is a good solve all until you reach 50ish. No one really suggests slamming a vehicle into first except for de-acceleration because its such a short gear in most vehicles.

I'm asking because I'm wondering if it would be good (if your setup can handle it) to maximize torque on the rear wheels during a turn to break them out and drift at speed, rather than doing fat burnouts down the highway in first sort of stuff which would be absolutely retarded also I should have said before you would hypothetically decelerating from higher speeds of say 170-180km/h in 4th or 5th gear, just also having insane amounts of torque on your rear, to break out the back wheels while also being at a lower speed for cornering.
It's weird to have weekend and not be able to do fuck-all since the car is gone :v:
Depends on the gearing
Maybe a 1.5:1 gear ratio?
Everything outside is encased in 1/8" of ice. A lot of fucking ice. I stood out in the parking lot and legit slid 5 feet from my door to another car door. "Fuck this, I'm going back inside. Work be damned."
Imagine spending an hour with a butane torch and pliers to open the doors of a caddy, and finally getting in. Then realising that the doors won't open from the inside.
