never felt it in Florida because Florida is gay
I was in Scranton when the earthquake occurred and I didn't feel anything. A bunch of people were evacuated from the taller buildings (like Scranton even has tall buildings), so I guess it must have reached this far, but uh...
Here in CT and I didn't feel a thing.
Now we have a Hurricane coming for the news to overreact to. An average earthquake followed by a hurricane? THIS MUST BE THE END OF THE WORLD! :tinfoil:
Why is TheWeatherNetwork.com doesn't show the Hurricane on their radar? Do they seriously edit that shit out?
Little northeast of Dayton, Ohio here, didn't feel shit. But my mom did while she was at work and someone else in the house said they felt it too. I feel left out.
It was a shallow quake, they don't have as much aftershock.
I definitely felt something. Never experienced something like that before. I'm scared.
We even had a 5.7 earthquake here in colorado too. Creepy shit.
You americans and your little quakes.... Wait, your buldings arent build with tremors-thought structures, right? In that case it may be dangerous.....
i remember a 5.0 hit in ontario and i felt it upstairs in my school
When that happened, I'm sure Michael J. Fox didn't even felt a thing.
Holy shit earthquake let's get on the internet
I felt the quake on L.I earlier
aftershock happened like 30 minutes ago felt it in va
Anyone here can show me a map of quake prone area in the US. I am curious about your quake related activities.
Anyone here can show me a map of quake prone area in the US. I am curious about your quake related activities.
See that map? EDITED MAP: As you can see here i've cleverly drawn a little black circle representing which general area of the US is being affected by these tremors. Look at the legend, that area represents states that run some of the lowest risk of being prone to violent quakes. The red is were i live, an even lower risk of being affected. It's pretty uncommon to feel violent quakes like the ones we've been experiencing, it's far more common for the areas highlighted in red (not me) to be affected. EDIT: Good god, minutes after i posted that i felt something shake, my paranoia is unbearable.
ITS STARTING !
When earthquakes happen on the west coast we say "Oh, cool". When earthquakes happen on the east coast: "OH MY GOD! I better rush to facebook and text all of my friends to make sure they aren't dead or injured!" Guys, it was a 5.8
Felt it too here in the Bronx,New York yesterday a bit after I woke up. First time ever experiencing one, even though it was light

Guys, it was a 5.8
Buildings over there aren't built with the same Earth Quake resisting design as the ones on the west coast. although it is just a 5.8 it can still be very dangerous
If this happened in Finland everyone would be shitting diamond bricks :v:
inb4 "God's punishment for allowing gay marriage" from rednecks
Can't feel shit here in Arizona. :c00lbert:

So earthquakes and hurricanes. Funny how both aren't affecting Florida yet most of the east coast.
