Using alcohol(beer, vodka ect) to bring you down from an LSD trip..

The first time I took LSD, I took it in a party setting. I was drunk when I ate the blotter, so I barely tripped (alcohol + psychedelics = major disappointment, lesson learned). LSD is one of the few psychedelics that I could see myself enjoying in a party setting, but that is my only party-tripping experience with LSD.

The next time was on a camping trip. Man, that was fucking magical. The other times just involved wandering around town/campus with a few buddies. Exploring is so fucking great on LSD.

Exploring is great, though I usually don't get very far. Last time, my friend and I decided to go outside - when we closed the front door behind us, we were like "Wow, now that's something different", and just stood there. And we probably would have stood there for an hour if my girlfriend hadn't come down and dragged us around the back into the garden.

There, after a few minutes, I announced that I would go exploring now. (our garden borders on a small forest). So after wandering around for what seemed like half an hour, my girlfriend suddenly said "So...we've walked to the compost pile?". I turned around and realized I had walked about 8 yards before I had stopped dead again, paralyzed by the awesomeness of nature around me.

I can't even imagine wandering around town on LSD.
