That's $15
And I'm a cheap bastard
For some reason everytime i go on facebook, one of the ads is always "New John Lennon DVD
amazon.com
See Lennon's life in NYC, featuring interviews from Yoko Ono & Elton John and never before released recordings. Buy it now!"
They are on to me

My first album that I heard by them was the typical Abbey Road. That graduated to Sgt. Pepper's which turned into The White Album and by then I was ready for the full on expierence. I still remain standing that Revolver is their best, and the best album ever.
Towards the end of this month I may have a little competition to win a CD of your choice.
Soo look forward to that.
Sounds fun.
The answer is John Lennon.
What do i win?

It's the Japanese version.
Those sell for a fuckload for some reason.
Worth the price tag. And seeing as that album is in low production despite the type now it's a decent price.

Actually they're selling the normal remasters for about £6 less than in HMV so I may get one
Hard Day's Night, Beatles For Sale or With The Beatles?

They're extremely scarce here, no store ever know when they'll have more or if they'll even get more.
With The Beatles!!!!!!

Hobo will probably tell you Beatles for Sale
but I suggest With the Beatles. Lots of great songs. Or, if you want more of their more popular songs, grab Hard Day's Night.
Even better would be Help!
I have Help! on vinyl :smug:
Just get them all.

If possible.
I'm bored, glad I got my two new records, Rock and Roll Music Vol. 2 and Somewhere in England
Except Rubber Soul because I didn't really like it much
I haven't gotten around to giving Rubber Soul a listen.
Rubber Soul had it's moments in songs, it's still pretty good quality. John nicknamed it the "Pot Album" because of all the weed their were smoking while making it. In turn, Revolver was the "Acid"/"LSD Album."

I always heard Sgt. Pepper's as the drug album.
I don't know why you'd like Revolver and not Rubber Soul. Both go together.
imo, Rubber Soul was Revolver with a softer touch. Rubber Soul was full of a lot more sentimental and personal tunes while Revolver was faster paced and more existential.
But imo, they seemed like two sides of the same coin.
