They could've been put together as a double album. Actually would've worked.
I always felt that Rubber Soul and Revolver are 2 parts of a bigger album.
Revolving Soul

Rubber Soul is the best fucking album in the world and no one can tell me otherwise.
A true Beatles fan would love each album equally
A true Beatles fan would love each album equally
That's such a lie I can't even begin to fathom how much of a lie that is.
Wait, I'm not a true Beatles fan if I prefer an album over another?
I'd say it was the other way around. If you don't know enough to differentiate between the sounds and feels of each different album then you have a lot to learn.
Get The Beatles Rockband. That's what got me into The Beatles.
Me too. :respek:
A true Beatles fan would love each album equally
Yes. I respect each album equally.
However, I have to acknowledge better musicianship and songwriting on some compare with others.
Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize that having a favorite album made me not a true Beatles fan.
Now I see the error of my ways and I'll go back to not being smart enough to form my own opinions about things.
Revolver is best. :smug:
Personally, my favorite album is probably With the Beatles.
But Past Masters as a compilation is fantastic. And LOVE is amazing as well. Those two would top the list if compilations counted.
I'd have to say I like Beatles For Sale the most, then Help! is my second favorite.
Revolver
Rubber Soul
Beatles For Sale
SPLHCB
Help!/With the Beatles
My top five, in no particular order (Except for Revolver, which is my favorite.)
Abbey Road
Sgt. Pepper's
White Album
Revolver
Let It Be
Help!
Please Please Me
Magical Mystery Tour
Rubber Soul
that's probably changed since the last one I posted a few days ago though :v:
Rubber Soul
Revolver
A Hard Day's Night
Sgt. Pepper's
Please Please Me
Abbey Road
Past Masters 2
White Album
Past Masters 1
Magical Mystery Tour
Beatles for Sale
Help!
Let It Be
With the Beatles
Yellow Submarine
Changes on the reg, as evident by my posts earlier in the thread. However, right now it is:
Revolver
White Album
Rubber Soul
The White Album shall forever be my favorite, in my opinion it's their best album.
I like With the Beatles and Past Masters the most.
I don't know why you'd like Revolver and not Rubber Soul. Both go together.
Don't get me wrong, I like Rubber Soul, it's just, like Pascall said, a much more "softer" version of Revolver.
also
Revolver
Abbey Road
White Album
are my top three Beatles albums.

also, random Beatles trivia time!
A famous Tennessee blues artist was asked what he thought of the Rolling Stones (when the Stones did a lot of blues covers and their music was very bluesy.) The artist told the reporter: "Man, they ain't nothin' but plastic soul. They're fakers." The Beatles, who were friends with the Stones thought it was hilarious, so they named their album Rubber Soul in honor of his quote.
