I wouldn't recommend the bootleg "Get Back" sessions. Terrible production on that.
Terrible production? of course it's terrible production it's a bootleg
Terrible production? of course it's terrible production it's a bootleg
Not because it was a bootleg. It was a version of the album produced by Glyn Johns.
The quality was still great, it was actually a really good bootleg.
I have the Now and Then Bootleg, it's a good listen especially the Carnival of Light track
Nah, Hobo's got dibs. Called it a looong time ago.
Okay, uploaded this just now. It is an outtake from the Get Back sessions.
It is VERY unlike what you would ever expect them to do, I think it's pretty good... actually.
If you want me to upload more of them I will.

That's really nice.
Where'd you get the recordings?

Can't remember where, but it's a really nice bootleg.

These 3 are supposed to be played one after the other to make sense of the session.

That was amazing.
I really need to find these bootlegs somewhere.
Listening to Anthology Plus, the anthology bootleg, It makes me wonder why most these songs didn't make it into anthology
Ah, right AK, Hindu, not Indian burial. Also, I heard about John's ashes on a documentary about his life on VH1Classic.
Wow watching I am Sam since it was on and sooo many Beatles references/songs in it that I don't remember from last time :v:

Good choices too.

wat
I'm spending far too much on vinyl... Ram will be my last Beatle buy for a while :v:
Would like some more Lennon solos, is Mind Games or Rock and Roll any good?
My store has them.

Both are AMAZING. If you like covers, go with Rock and Roll. If you'd like a Sentimental Journey (RINGO POINTS WOO) go with Mind Games.
Also, personally, I still think John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band is one of his best solos.
"God is a concept...by which we measure...Our pain."
There wouldn't be an album that I won't like :v:
Imagine and Ono Band are masterpieces.
My sister is stopping at HPB today and I gave her some cash in case she spies any cheap vinyls.
Hopefully she'll call before she buys anything, I don't want no dupes.
Went to a cd/vinyl shop by where I'll soon be living for the next year or so, oh god the prices for any thing John Lennon related is insane. They're charging $36 for Double Fantasy on CD so no way I'm ever buying a cd or vynil there.
But they did have some interesting books about John Lennon.

My local record shop has Beatles for Sale for £40 :saddowns:
Also, anyone listen to the Stripped Down version of Double Fantasy? John's voice is awesome without double tracking and all that added.
I have Stripped down, it's a very well done remix, thank you Yoko.
Also anyone listen to Anthology Plus? Pretty good tracks on it, like this.
