May have a copy of Revolver in my hands in a few. My sister found it for $10 at Half Price Books. I'm not holding my breath for an original, but even for a new release, ten bucks is a pretty good deal.
GET RAUSCH!!!

Does anyone have that image of the news article where the guy that was in the background of the Abbey Road cover is talking to the reporter?

thanks in advance
Play "Across The Universe" when sitting in an airplane
It fits so well
Got my copy of Revolver. The sleeve seems to come from an original but the record itself is not. Which is.. weird.
Still cool though.
Eleanor rigby and taxman are really good

My copy of "Abbey Road" isn't original, I got it at Best Buy for like $13, still sounds amazing.
I hate how when I post something it gets overshadowed by something else :smith:
Don't worry, I listened to yer soundclouds. :D
uh
it's a discussion thread. people are bound to discuss other beatles-related things.

Don't like taxman as much as Eleanor Rigby though personally.
I love these Alt takes

what you want from me tho
I went up to my girl friend and asked her "Why Don't We Do It In The Road". She then said I needed a "Ticket to Ride". * I told her I didn't know if I could "Carry That Weight". So she hit me in the "Junk" and left in "Misery". I felt like a "Bad Boy". Then "Free as a bird" I went up stairs after "A Hard Day's Night" and tried to get some "Golden Slumbers". Then "She Came Through the Bathroom Window" then we did "Every Little Thing". "The End".
Sure it's dirty, but I "Dig it"
Just found that on Youtube, it is pretty stupid but i thought it was pretty fascinating.

As soon as I can get like two more commissions done, I'll grab it for you.
Uhhh idk what I would want in return. You don't have to since I'm not spending like an obscene amount or anything lol. It's just a CD
Got Anthology 1 this evening, No Reply is hilarious, mainly due to the fact they end every verse with 'Your face', leading to 'I saw you peep through your face'.
I'm in serious need to go get the Anthologies. Oh, and Past Masters. I really want that.
Anthology is just like a bunch of remixes/original demos of their songs right?
Also which album should I get next? I'm thinking either Abbey Road or Let It Be.

Get Let It Be.

Nah, Anthology are different takes, studio recordings that weren't final, and live recordings. For the most part anyway.
Got the 2 New Tracks for LOVE, Listen to this and discuss it.

Oh man, I wish they weren't album only.
I really really want them, but I'm not going to buy the entire album again just for two songs.
[editline]8th February 2011[/editline]
Wait they aren't?
SWEEDISH DEALS.
But they're also $1.29.
Just bought both.
Both are amazing tracks, though I like The Fool on the Hill (LOVE Version) better than Girl
Just got back from a school overnight Government & Politics trip to London, and before getting on the train home we had an hour and a half to kill on Oxford street.
The HMV there is fucking incredible. Bottom floor as all new DVD/Blu-ray releases, boxsets and all the music stuff. The Second floor is pretty much all DVD/Blu-Ray, with everything in alphabetical order - if you can think of any 'properly released' film, they had it.
Ended up buying Brainwashed and Concert for Bangladesh for £15 each, hadn't listened to the albums as a whole before, just certain tracks. I'm loving Brainwashed so much. On the way out, after I'd paid though, I saw they had a load of vinyl. Under The Beatles they had loads of copies of the '1' compilation, and one copy of Anthology 2, they were like £25 each.
HMV is a cool place but fucking daylight robbery
£16 each for Queen CDs I mean WHAT THE HELL
