I love them, ya ya ya
if i had $200 or more i could build replica of that $20,000 guitar.
This guy on American Idol did a pretty good job singing Oh Darling.
its official george had/ has the best solo career of all of the 4. john and paul were so foolish that they didnt let george have more album space.

Mccartney.. In particular, made some absolutely amazing stuff. Ram is a masterpiece in my opinion. His music has grown a lot on me over time and I'm finding it hard to get how he could have a Toot and a Snore with Lennon in the middle of it all. :psyduck: But then again, Harrison has the most heart. I would rather play a record of his than any of the others at a given time. Tricky.

Paul had the most successful in terms of record sales. Ringo had the most fun by far, constantly meeting up with the broken-Beatles and other artists. George had...Not really sure. George had some great success with his post-Beatles stuff. John had the rough and sentimental time.
I was going through my school library’s small music collection and out of the corner of my eye, I saw a double album. It was white and my first thought was "Oh man The White Album!", and at the time I didn't know what it was. I then I saw the Apple Records trademark apple, so at this point I was 100% positive it was The White Album. I was wrong, it was Beatles Anthology 1. I was so excited I checked it out asap. My school just got more awesome.

They have all 3 anthologies in an independent music shop near my house, but they do that thing of pricing beatles stuff higher than everything else because it's beatles stuff and will never not be sought after
They have all 3 anthologies in an independent music shop near my house, but they do that thing of pricing beatles stuff higher than everything else because it's beatles stuff and will never not be sought after
There's 2 copies of Beatles for Sale in my store. £20 a piece. :sigh:
Found a second hand record store, good enough for now [editline]13th February 2011[/editline] In the CBD though :sigh:
There's 2 copies of Beatles for Sale in my store. £20 a piece. :sigh:
I can top that, there's a single copy in the shop I mentioned for £40 :gonk:
I can top that, there's a single copy in the shop I mentioned for £40 :gonk:
They do have an original of With The Beatles. £50 :downs:
Original pressings of Beatles albums in good condition cost exponentially more than second pressings in good condition. [editline]12th February 2011[/editline] Also, what other solo stuff should I check out? I have: Ringo: Ringo Y Not Paul: Ram Band on the Run George: All Things Must Pass John: Hi.
George's Cloud Nine. John's Imagine Paul's Mccartney Ringo's Beaucoup's of Blues
Today I went to a local hot spot that happens to have a record store, I ended up with both "All Things Must Pass" and "Extra Texture." Today was a good day.
Picked up some mess today at the flea market/ Half Price Books. Paul's "McCartney" vinyl which I found for ten bucks. Pretty good condition. The guy had a couple of other vinyls but none were in the right sleeve. Two original MMT's and a Rubber Soul, but none had their sleeves and I would rather invest in a vinyl that has everything. Also got the book "The Beatles: Unseen Archive". Fabulous book full of photographs that aren't anywhere else. And the HUGE sign was a gift from a friend of the family. He bought it a few weeks back and had nowhere to put it so, of course, it was suggested that he give it to me. Haven't put it up yet, trying to find a spot, but it's pretty rad. Slim pickins today, but it was fun. Oh and those anthology DVDs, I borrowed from the library. They're overdue. :v:
Beatles
You got some pretty amazing deals there, bro. I want to see some of those "photographs that aren't anywhere else".
A while back I promised Makol a Harrison record, to bad I was out of money!
*stuff*
Reminds me, I sent those DVDs today.
McCartney's McCartney album is truly awesome. Good job With them finds Pascall.
You got some pretty amazing deals there, bro. I want to see some of those "photographs that aren't anywhere else".
If I could find my scanner, I would scan some of them. I'll look around for it. I also checked out this book from the library (also overdue) Equally fantastic book, although there's a LOT of tangents about music of the time and the history. Still a great read though. It's more about the effect of the band as a whole instead of the minds of the band members themselves. [editline]12th February 2011[/editline]
Reminds me, I sent those DVDs today.
Sweet deal.
Beatles again
Those books look like good reads, I'll look into them. Maybe see if I can find a copy on eBay or alternative places. Thanks.
