Definitely one of his best.
Don't like coke, it makes my teeth feel like they're hairy.
Now who fits better with beard? I think Paul looks better without beard so I'm saying John although I think John looked better before they stopped touring when he had the classic Beatles haircut.

dose anyone else think this movie is fucking annoying?
It sucks living in a city with only 40 000 other people who live here.
I can't find anything in the stores, the video store don't got those beatles dvds and no record store got any of the beatles albums.
Also the reason I decided asked which fit best between John and Paul is because I know Ringo and George looked good with a beard.

what the fuuuuuck
It's unlucky to grow up in countries with no developement in getting music from the western world.
The best place to be for getting Beatles records is London. (I do :ohdear:)

What is that? Looks like high-tech alien equipment. Also, listening to revolution 9 right now.
I don't get it.

Great song. It is Avant Garde and pretty difficult to understand in terms of their usual stuff.
[editline]22nd February 2011[/editline]
This one song has changed my favourite number...
it is now number fucking nine. :smug:
What is Avant Garde and why does this man keep saying number 9?
Why did they make this?
SO MANY QUESTIONS!
/caps

John made it by himself.
Don't you find it amazing how he actually flies passed your right ear screaming "RIGHT, RAHHHHHHHHHHH"?
Man he must've been taking some really heavy stuff when he made that.
There isn't even any sense, barely any instruments.
Where are the hidden message?
:gonk:
The problem with how you are reacting is that you are complaining a lot.
STOP WHINING. :smug:
It is at this point that I will help you.
Not complaining just being busy being really confused.
Why would he make something like that when he was fully capable of writing music with chords and choruses and verses?
And that song was like 9 minutes long (:byodood:), the only other song I've heard about that was longer was on a lp with 4 songs and one being about 20 minutes.
Please let me know what you know or give a link where it says he did that song, please?
You wanna know why? Do you really?
IT WAS BECAUSE HE WAS STONED OKAY!!
Happy now? :colbert:
I'm gonna listen to Revolution 9 just because of how weird it feels with these headphones.
The sounds are massaging my brain. :lsd:
I never saw Revolution 9 as a song, rather than an experiment with the arrangement of sounds and tones.
OH GOD MY BRAIN TICKLES. :gonk:
[editline]22nd February 2011[/editline]
It's really interesting to listen to.
It just makes my brain tickle which is deeply unsettling.
John did it because he wanted to make some kind of musical avant-garde piece, just like Yoko's weird art. He took part of the audio from a recording of 'Revolution' (take 9 to be precise) and got the 'Number 9' phrase itself from a GCSE paper or something. The piano-y bit in the middle (that's the one that goes quite quickly, not the slow piece at the beginning) is actually a backwards version of the opening to 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps'. I know the childish voice that says 'You become naked' is Yoko. I'm fairly certain all the phrases taken from the Beatles themselves were made during that Revolution take 9 recording.
Hooray, wall of text!
[editline]22nd February 2011[/editline]
I'm stupid, it's actually take 20 of Revolution, not take 9.

When does this backwards WMGGW part start?
oh, 6:46
I'm surprised I didn't notice that before
except it only lasts 3 seconds anyway, and it doesn't sound reversed

It's 6:56 for me.
http://www.hornswaggled.com/2009/08/20/090909-beatles-number-9-summary/
It says from 7:33 to 7:42 there's a backwards piano loop, so I figured that may be WMGGW, but I reversed it and it doesn't sound like it.
