They are singing beatles songs on american idol!
They are singing beatles songs on american idol!
I laughed when they did Beatles week on X-factor. Cheryl Cole seems to think Imagine is a Beatles song
I'm enjoying American Idol for once, ever. [editline]23rd February 2011[/editline] But the songs are reeeaaaallllyyyy short D:
King George's birthday tomorrow :buddy:
I don't like their variations on Beatles songs. They're changing them up too much.
Didn't listen to any of it, what songs did they do, and who sang them? I'll prolly check 'em out on Youtube tomorrow.

Terrible. :smug:

I like how they entirely removed the bluesy feel of Get Back so they could render it into some modernized shit.
I haven't listened to The Beatles since Saturday, and frankly, it feels damn good to take a break from them. But I'll be back.

:golfclap: But no, not yet. For a year and a half straight I listened to them every day and decided that I needed to listen to different bands.
oh god those american idol covers were awful
:golfclap: But no, not yet. For a year and a half straight I listened to them every day and decided that I needed to listen to different bands.
I liked to listen to the early work of the rolling stones before I got into the beatles, it's good and very different.
Other than The Beatles I really only listen to the Bloody Beetroots.

A person I know, don't think you can call it friend yet, was acting as John Lennon in a thing called Sgt peppers live, some of you might know about it and some of you may not. Anyway, they started out here in Piteå and went all the way to liverpool and played Sgt peppers songs live. Unfortunately there are no videos of this but you guys don't like covers anyhow. But after that he made a band called The merrymakers and I really like the sound of them. To all you looking for more than the beatles check this out. In other news. I was listening to Georges got my mind set on you and I thought I could really hear 60's George in there, not the entire time but a half second before the harmonies sang it sounded like George sounded like in the 60's. But if I listen to Pauls songs that he did in the 80's he don't sound like he did back when he played in the beatles. But John sounded like John the entire time. Wall of texts! Maybe it's just me, but I loved the Idol covers. They were very good. I loved the funk cover they did for Can't Buy Me Love.
