That is if someone doesn't ruin it for you lol. And remember, Hobo has dibs on the next thread so any other ones will be closed.
You're right. I need to sit on this computer24/7 until we hit 4,999, then post. But I have to go school school! This is so saddening!!!!! Oh, and,
Just been listening to Revolver with a great pair of headphones, 'twas amazing :D
mono or stereo?
I think it may be Mono.
I think it may be Mono.
Listen to Taxman Is it vocals in the right, EVERYTHING ELSE in the left?
Guys, we're nearing the end! And I call dibs on the thread after Hobo's!
224 more posts isn't that near to the end, plus why does it matter if you're the OP?
Listen to Taxman Is it vocals in the right, EVERYTHING ELSE in the left?
No, sort of a balance of things in each ear.
No. I'm trying to end the thread in a good way, and if someone called OP, why can't I?
No, sort of a balance of things in each ear.
It's mono. Some mono versions are good and some stereo ones are better.
I'm watching Nowhere Boy, it's about John Lennon, good movie. [editline]26th February 2011[/editline] Ok this movie is pretty sad. Now I understand why John could be such an ass at times, his family was completely dysfunctional and that fucked him up in the head. :saddowns:
Guys, we're nearing the end! And I call dibs on the thread after Hobo's!
This thread has been open for nearly 2 years. If you wanna wait that long for a third Beatles thread possibly longer go ahead.

Which I was I hate all the people that say that "John is so terrible herr derr he would never understand the working class herr derr"
well john was kind of a dick regardless but this does not change his music so I don't care
Ok, I'm done with waiting. Anyways, my family is going to watch Nowhere Boy today. I hope it'll be fun!
I read in a Swedish newspaper that a songwriter called Max something apparently is bigger than The Beatles because he got 4 songs on the top 100 songs in US now, they're also claiming that if The Beatles was bigger than Jesus he is bigger that God, too bad that no one will remember his songs in 5 years. And The Beatles is still better because they actually play their own music, todays music industry makes me mad. And I'm okay with b0b0 getting the last post in this thread, I will try to PM you when this thread is coming to an end but I will likely be asleep because almost everyone in this thread is America... :sweden:
No one is better than the Beatles.
Hey, when this thread hits 4,999 posts, can someone PM me? I need to be sure this thread gets auto-locked properly. :D
You do realise threads usually close on 5,001 or 5,002 right? [editline]27th February 2011[/editline] Also I love you guys.
I find myself listening to their solo material more than their work as a band now.

Britain is cool, if I lived there I would go to camp FP this summer but what are you gonna do? Btw, what do you guys mean that John was mean? He don't seem to mean but I haven't read so much about him nor watched any videos, except for a hard days night where he seem to annoy the man looking after them.
John was kind of a dick pretty often.
Don't forget the :d:narcissism:d:
Any examples? I would like to know what made him so bad, except for the "We're bigger than jesus" incident. That was completely true and is still true if you ask me.
The way he treated every member of the Beatles kind of speaks for itself. He held himself in the highest regard, seeing himself as some sort of demi-god among the "peasants". Just the air of his words is proof enough of how egotistical he was, although in the late 70's, I think he mellowed out a little when he was settled with Yoko and Julian. But in the entirety of the Beatles career, he was a huge jerk-off. Not without his reasons, no, but he still was.
I didn't knew about this, but where does it says this? I don't have any of the books you have but it sucks that he was mean to the others. You would think they've had enough of him pretty quick but that they managed to stay a group for 8-9 years is pretty impressive.
John had a knack for demeaning people. But whatever, he was free spirited.

Of course, all four of them had their faults at times, but most of the blame is put on John.
Just read his wikipedia page, one of biographies, or watch Nowhere Boy to understand why John was the way he was.
