Is the beatles love album worth a listen?
Why listen to the Beatles when you can listen to Oasis.
Why listen to the Beatles when you can listen to Oasis.
Oasis?? Coldplay are better than oasis mate..
Is the beatles love album worth a listen?
Definitely.
The Love album is pretty cool.
How come I can't find the 'Cry Baby Cry' that was featured on the Love album after Come Together and Dear Prudence anywhere else. It's so haunting and beautiful. [editline]11:21PM[/editline] Oh nevermind, it's just at the very end of the song.
The Love album is pretty cool.
So this girl claimed to be fond of The Beatles, but when my friend asked her about what her fav studio album she answered "Love" :sigh: And this girl in class, said he loved The Beatles, later on she asked me if I was excited for the new record they were going to release.

Hey, I found an old Beatles karaoke Laser Disc. Damm, laser disc has been around for quite a long time, i wish there was a player that can play that huge 1feet diameter disc. I love the Beatles, especially Paul McCartney.

Your Mother Should Know that you can Twist and Shout And Your Bird Can Sing For No One except Doctor Robert and a Girl named Michelle. For No One is a fucking awesome song, some how no one really pays attention to it.
I Want You (She's So Heavy) is a fabolous song.
I Want You (She's So Heavy) is a fabolous song.
its the most "un-beatles" like song they have made... there are a lot like that on abbey road....superb album
I want you is 7 minutes long but only has about 14 words which are just repeated over and over again. The first time I listened to it the whole way through, the ending actually made me jump because it was so sudden. [editline]03:12PM[/editline] Also I realized listening to Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds that you could actually mistake if for 'Lucy in this guy with diamonds'.
"We are taking large amounts of pills..."
I just saw that video, the Eric Clapton part was just fucked up seriously.

Infact the whole Revolver album is just awesome, I honestly believe it is their best album.
Never really heard much of their music, parent's never played them and I've never really bothered to hear any of their music, though I do remember one song by them that I like (The name escapes me at this point).
Spoiler alert: Childhood awesomeness inbound Alrighty kids, gather 'round. I shall recount the tale of how I was introduced to The Beatles, and how they have become the center of my life. First, some back story. My last name is Hohenwarter, quite Austrian indeed. My father, being raised in an Austrian household, was nurtured into the skiing world at an early age. After all, why not hit the slopes after a long day working in Vienna? His father Kurt was a survivor of the war, the commander of four tank battalions, in fact! By age twenty he commanded three of them, where as my brother, at age 22, is now JUST gradding from university! Impressive, no? Regardless, his father was a real pusher. If he wanted the kids to do something, he made sure they did it. So my dad was pushed into skiing. He loved it anyways, which always helps. Now, being 18 at the time Sgt Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band came out, he was definately in the right period to explore "his limits". I'll be honest, as he is honest with me about it, he was a huge stoner. Acid on the French Alps, shrooms at his best friend's wedding. He was epic :3: So, what better music to listen to when you're baked? The Beatles, of course! Thus, he fell in love with Paul, Ringo, John, and George. He owns each album (still!!) and has numerous posters and shirts and whatnot. Now, years down the road, his second son is born. Me. Just like the son before me, he introduced me to the slopes at an early age. By my second year of skiing, at age 4, I was better than I am at snowboarding NOW! Unbeknown to me :3: So on the drive up the mountain, he'd always play this silly CD. It only had white on the front, no pictures, which bummed me out quite a bit! But, I loved the CD. There were songs about it being my birthday, about the silly raccoon who lived in america, and the bird who couldn't fly. I even remember how they were happy to be back in Russia, which was a weird concept to me. The fact that I knew what the USSR was at age 5 or so is actually disturbing me at the moment..... BUT, I loved the CD. Every song. Both CD's, actually. So fuck. I realized that after all these years, my father had raised me on The White Album, one of their hugest albums to date. No fucking wonder why I love them so much. Now, at age 17, I have fully blossomed into a Beatles Fan. Shirts, patches on my jeans, The Beatles: Rock Band, the DVD's for Magical Mystery Tour (fucking hilarious movie), Hard Day's Night, and Yellow Submarine, and a 20th Anniversary poster of when they appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show in '64. So its from 1984 :3: Paul... George.... John..... RINGO.... I love you
Two words... helter skelter... Anyways, I'm actually listening to Come Together right now which I love. Playlist.com doesn't have very many beatles songs though so I have to look for them in other places
Spoiler alert: Childhood awesomeness inbound
That's an awesome story
Today I watched Yellow Submarine. It was FUCKIN AWESOME
