I have heard this album is pretty great. Anyone given it a listen?
Guys, which is less Beatle-like: Helter Skelter, or I Want You?
Oh fuck, epic question. Probably Helter Skelter. It IS my favorite song of all time, but it's so hardcore and out there, it doesn't seem like something they'd regularly produce. I Want You only gets to be more Beatle-like because it's got some love-esque theming. Sorta? If it only means just the words.
Guys, which is less Beatle-like: Helter Skelter, or I Want You?
Helter Skelter, seeing as it was written by Lennon to show that he can write heavy songs. [editline]08:20PM[/editline] Oh and guys I need you all to vote on the online poll to get John Lennons face on the British coin. Wasn't Helter Skelter written by McCartney?

No-one remembers Millicent Fawcett :(
Wasn't Helter Skelter written by McCartney?
Look down, now look up [IMG]http://filesmelt.com/dl/diamonds.jpg[/IMG] The Beatles are now diamonds But honestly, ya, it was written by McCartney. To battle "I Can See For Miles" by The Who. He wanted to make a dirty, gnarly song to compete with it, because he loved the sound.

The best part of Helter Skelter, other than the song itself of course, is: "I'VE GOT BLISTERS ON MAH FINGAHS!"

I know I'm gonna be hated for this, but I've never really liked Helter Skelter. Chorus is cool, and ending's hilarious, but the verse has never really taken my fancy. Lyrics don't make sense and melody's relatively simple. I don't hate it, but I don't fully understand it's praise. Perhaps I just don't have a taste for heavy grungey stuff.
A George album? Is it good?
Imagine this, George Harrison was like a closed book when it came to Beatles albums, yet people say his songs on the albums are the better parts of it. His songs were generally rejected, so after they split, Harrison had a MASSIVE catalogue of unused songs of his. This album, prooves exactly how much of a True Beatle the man was. Its about 15 minutes under 2 hours, pretty darn long album, but it is actually amazing... When i want to listen to music for a while then i come across this, i have to play all of it... It is a masterful work. It is overlooked most of the time, with John Lennon's Imagine album, which is still excellent, no doubt. But not comparible.. Even the first 2 songs set things off so perfectly.. Its like 2 thirds, pure George Harrison(even some Bob Dylan is there), then the last bit is actually like listening to a Beatles album.
It's a secret message about a race war.
Oh shush, Charles Manson But, best yell in history, IMHO, is the "AND I SEE YOU AGAAAAAAAAAAAIN" [sp]+ YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAHHHHH[/sp] in the intro It makes me weep, hearing Paul screech like that
Anyone else here have The Beatles Rock Band? Playing Birthday on expert Bass is probably the most fun I've ever had playing this game alone.
I dooooo add my gamertag, we MUST play tonight. Zydos FTW

I fucking love it.
Any Beatles Rock Band players on PS3 wanting to play?
A couple Months ago I saw "Rain" a tribute to The Beatles with my girlfriend. Pretty much the best Beatles impersonators in the world. One of the best days of my life.
