Does anyone know about the collaberations between Stevie Wonder and some of The Beatles, i know some sessions included them but i'm clueless about them. Any help would be appreciated.

I just got Revolver and Yellow Submarine the other day (the remastered stereo versions), all I need now is With the Beatles, A Hard Day's Night, Beatles for Sale, and then I'll get the remastered version of Help! (I've already got an old CD of it). Then I'll have the whole collection. It's a shame they cost £17 apiece, fricking HMV...

I got the White Album for about £12, from HMV no less. I could buy every Beatles book they sell in the HMV in Southampton for less than 1 or 2 albums.
I know that any later Beatles song is great while 'under the influence', but I think Free As A Bird is just great. The slide guitar and slower beat make it particularly awesome.
Dear sweet fuck, I only just noticed those higherpitched backing vocals on the second chorus of Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da. Mind=blown. It's like when I first heard the real count-in underneath the main, louder one on Taxman. Fuuuuck.
I hate to prove that guy right about us talking about the same thing every few pages but I finally listened to Harrison's "All Things Must Pass" album. :damn: it's good

Man, the Revolver album is absolutely amazing. I'd only previously heard Taxman on The Beatles: Rock Band, and it sounds awesome with the count-in and extended ending. Plus, I love I'm Only Sleeping... Fits John perfectly. [editline]12:42PM[/editline] Yellow Submarine's OK, but it seems kind of half-assed for a Beatles record. The incidental music is good, but I would've preferred them to spend some more time on it and maybe add songs that weren't in the film. Hey Bulldog is great though.
Is Ringo Starr underrated? I have only found this worth listening to. Should I divulge into his catalogue or just go to the McCartney first?
He's alright to listen to, has a few songs I like. Just don't expect something with the "depth" (for lack of a better word, but you know what I mean) of George's stuff. Is my probably my favourite of Ringo's songs (though I think George actually wrote it, funnily enough).

I also posted this in the Creepy Stuff thread, and although it's really more John-related than Beatles-related, I decided to post it here. And yes, it's creepypasta. And yes, I wrote it in roughly 1.5 hours.
So I went down to the music store last week, and I could see a record. It was pretty ordinary, just a plain black record, no sleeve, with a sticky note on. I walked up to the note and it said 'John Lennon- War is Over: 20p'. As a fan of the Beatles and John, and since it was such a steal, I bought it. So I took it home, dusted it off and listened to the record. Now, I know records are a kind of outdated format, but the sound quality was really bad. As in, 30s bad. I could barely even hear it. And there was some instrumental at the beginning, basically the chorus line's instruments playing for a bar. Then the first line came on, and that's when it got weird. Normally, the first line is 'So this is Christmas, and what have you done', but it sounded different. I turned the record back and listened again, and I could hear John say 'Yeah, this ain't Christmas; Christ, what have I done?'. Then the next line came on (as usual), but now Yoko was singing. Then the third line came, and what sounded like Paul McCartney sang the normal line. Then George Harrison sang the next, then Ringo. I was guessing that this was some bootleg with soundalikes, but why would Yoko be in this? I rewound back to the beginning again, and this time the one-bar instrumental was gone. And the quality was worse. John said the poorly-lyriced line once more, and this time all 4 'guests' sang with him. But the next line was exactly the same lyric, but with some weird harmony. And the instruments had changed. There was a guitar, heavy like in 'Revolution'. And a bass, clearly audible. Confused, I turned the record player off, and took the record off the table and into an ersatz sleeve (two pieces of paper stuck together). I noticed the record's label, and it read 'The Beetles- War is Over. Recorded December 9th, 1980.' Now not only was the name Beatles spelt incorrectly, but the date recorded (which isn't normally on a record) was one day after John had been shot. And the Beatles never got back together. So the next morning, I went back to the shop, and asked if I could return the record. The counterman turned round, and I recognized something about him. His crooked nose, his round glasse- No, it couldn't have been. I told him 'Hey, you look a lot like John Lennon'. And he replied, in an all-too-familiar Liverpudlian drawl, 'Yeah. Lots of people say that. Mainly you.' I asked him what he meant by that, and he answered 'Oh, didn't you know? I've been working here for years. You've told me I look like John every day since 1980. I said this was impossible since I was born in 1981, and he replied 'Oh, it's not as unlikely as you think.' Confused by this clear John Lennon impersonator, I asked him one last question: 'By the way, what's your name?' He replied, once more, as he had every day, 'I used to be the Walrus, but now I'm John'. By now, I was seriously mindscrewed, so I ran back to my home and listened to the record all the way through. It was the normal record now, but the quality was amazing. Unlike the 30s-style cracks and pips, it was almost like being there. I looked at the label when the record stopped, and it said 'John Lennon- War's Beginning'. There was an autograph from John himself clearly. But the title was wrong. So I went back to the music shop again the next day, more perplexed than ever. This time, a different man turned round. He looked somewhat like John, but his features seemed exaggerated, as if he'd been taken out of one of his own drawings. I browsed the guitars, and when I looked back his face seemed more exaggerated. I have to say, at this point I was somewhat scared, so I walked out of the shop and back to my house. When I returned, the record was playing, despite the fact I had put it back in the sleeve. I jumped when I heard a man say 'Number Nine', as if I was listening to Revolution 9. But then the same man said 'Number Eight', then 'Number Seven', and so on. I ran out of the house, barely locking the door. I faintly heard the voice scream 'NUMBER NONE!'. Then I heard a giant smash, and a whir. Partially deafened, with my ears bleeding, I walked back into the house. There was a gigantic hole in the floor, my house was obliterated. Inside, I saw the John-like man again, his features more of a caricature than ever. He looked more like Ringo than John, with a giant nose, and the largest glasses I've ever seen. He said 'You can't cheat the system Paul. You can't cheat the system George. You can't cheat the system etc.', as he continued through the names of all 6 Beatles, all the Beatles wives, what I'm assuming to be every affair they had, and then Brian Epstein, and finally 'You can't cheat the system, Mark David Chapman.' Then he suddenly disappeared, with the sound of a gun being fired. I screamed and ran out of my largely destroyed house. I rang the police, and when they came round and went into the house, there were no gasps of shock, no screams in horror. Instead, they came back outside and told me that the house was perfectly fine inside. They told me to stop wasting their time, and if I did again I would be arrested. Then they drove off, and just as they were out of sight a shattered piece of a record flew out of a hole in my demolished house's roof. I could just see the charred label. This time it read 'Time's up.' After this, I haven't really had much trouble. I'm amazed the whole story's stayed in my head, but I feel like I'm going insane. Still, I'm nice and warm, and safe inside my new house. It's a cozy little place, but there's plenty of room to sleep. The door's interesting though. Because for everyone else, it reads 'Jonathon Joseph, in confinement for 26 years to life', but for me it reads a short, and simple sentence. 'Time's up, Jon.'
[editline]06:42PM[/editline] By the way, when the heck did Ringo get rid of his Beatle mop? Was he in a car crash?

Actually, that was kind of more like a horror/thriller novel than a creepypasta. But it was kind of confusing, was the record store guy John and is he like Satan or something?
I Need to get this album somehow. Help will be appreciated. [editline]11:31AM[/editline] I've got it now don't worry :v:

The point is, the record's some screwed up bull-honky, and it's up to you to decide whether the guy's gone insane from the record or if it's actually supernatural. [editline]05:58PM[/editline] Additionally, if you listen very closely, at the end of Helter Skelter, you can hear Ringo throw his drumsticks across the room after the third symbol and I think I heard John say something along the lines of 'That okay?' [editline]05:58PM[/editline] Before the infamous 'I GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGERS!' bit though.
Any of you guys parents went to see their concerts?
Like I said before. My Aunt went to the Shea Stadium concert and got Beatles For Sale signed by all four of them.
