Heheh, what do Yoko Ono and Ethiopians have in common?
They both live off dead beetles :3
What did George say to his guitar while it gently weeped?
"Don't fret."
ringo was the sexiest young beatle
Are you kidding me? I'm straight and I think John Lennon was sexy as fuck

Dohoho
Just got an email from The Royal Mint. A while ago they did a poll for who should be commemorated in a series of coins of "Great Britons", and Lennon was an option. Lennon won the poll he was in, so they're doing a Lennon £5 coin.

Also looking at the cover I see what you mean when you say George was an ugly little bastard when he was young
oh I also found a US copy of Sgt. Peppers
Nice! But remember that its rare to find truly valuable beatles stuff.
They sold over a billion records :smug:

Then why do I never find any records anywhere? :saddowns:
Well, not counting that one I have found, but we all already now about that one. :v:
In the same shop I saw the sleeve of Abbey Road and I was like "oh cool I'll buy that" and I looked inside and it contained Let It Be, the White Album and Sgt. Pepper's :psyduck:
God fuck I wish I could find cool shit like that. I'd kill for a sleeve or a record, no matter what condition it's in.
Why are you all complaining? I have like 3 record stores within a 30 minute drive radius.
Why don't you find some :v:
Or eBay which is surprisingly good sometimes.
I don't have any Beatles vinyl albums, but I have a couple of singles my dad got from work ages ago. He works for a radio station, and when they transferred to using digital rather than vinyl, he got a load that they were throwing out. They're obviously not original pressings or anything, still nice to have them though.
I'm not as fond of my Beatles collection than I should be. I guess its just the fact that I know its too easy to find another copy in literally 5 minutes.
I cherish my George Harrison collection more than my Beatles :smug:
Oh hey the copy of Please Please Me I got actually IS an original pressing, with the yellow Parlophone label and all. Wonder how much I can sell it for
edit: scratch that it's the 4th pressing but still an original from 1963

The only record store in the area is Half Price Books which I've searched before. Has a lot of cool vinyl albums but no Beatles.

E-mail this guy. he has about seven million of anything under the sun
I have a few Roy Orbison vinyls, but most of them are seventies compilations of his sixties material.
Actually, just remembered - I really want to get hold of one of the Traveling Wilburys vinyl boxsets they released a few years ago. There was a disc of demos and alternate mixes that they didn't include on either of the CD reissue editions.
My dishwasher broke a while ago, and I can't wash anything without listening to some Beatles. It calms me from wanting to throw plates across the room. When my dad dies he's giving me his vinyl collection, consisting of the Mamas & the Papas, some Strawberry Alarmclock, the Woodstock Album, and a few others... but most importantly, about 7 or 8 Beatles albums. :D
I always listen to BeatlesRadio.com when I'm cleaning or doing work.
Never heard of it. Do you get to choose which years the music comes from, or does it just throw random Beatles songs at you? Because I like to listen to their earlier years for the more energetic and fast-paced sound.
It plays everything from every point in their careers including Paul McCartney songs, Lennon songs, and covers including a few other songs that were from around the same time period, but it's Beatles for the most part.
It's an online radio station. If you want to listen to certain stuff, you're better off just listening to your own collection.
Wow, that actually sounds awesome, and I feel lame for having not heard of it until now, haha. Thanks. :)
I have an original pressing of The Beatles 1962-1966

Thanks for mentioning beatlesradio.com - I hadn't known of it either, and just started listening to it now.

Pfff, they'll all be sold out within a second anyway.
Oh God this Beatles Radio thing even has a borderline-racist "Indian" "guru" named "Hurry Curry".
Wait no, I'm pretty sure that's actually completely racist.

Absolutely amazing album... He never lost it, even in his last days.
Has one of my favourite songs ever on it
