Good Night If You've Got Trouble
I knew yellow submarine, that was embarrassing. Thanks to both of you, great songs.
With A Little Help From My Friends, Act Naturally, Honey Don't, What Goes On, If You've Got Trouble, Yellow Submarine, Don't Pass Me By, Octopus's Garden, Matchbox, Boys, I Wanna Be Your Man, and Good Night. All the ones I can think of.
Ok so recently I watched through the Hard days night videos on youtube and is wondering if they did anything more like this? They're all good actors and George leaning on the amp on If I fell is just priceless.
They did several movies, if that's what you mean? Hard Day's Night Help Magical Mystery Tour Let It Be Yellow Submarine I think that's all the movies they did if you don't count John's "How I Won the War". [editline]28th November 2010[/editline] Help was probably the funniest thing I've seen in a long while.
Intermission.
Let It Be is a great movie.
What do you guys think of my new avatar?
Been listening to this all weekend. [img]http://tlb.hwcdn.net/g5a9r2d3/cds/media/613/f31ea68109d10/view.jpg[/img] Awesome album. "Time" is a fantastic song.
[QUOTE=tasty-man;26369847]What do you guys think of my new avatar?[/QUOTE] I like it.
I was glancing at the UK singles chart, and there were about 6 beatles songs in the top 100, most likely because their discography was just released on iTunes. I think every time Beatles stuff is re-released everyone is all "OMG WOW I LOVE THE BEETLES" for about 2 months. And then it happens again the following year.
Sooner or later I'm gonna improve this thread. What I was thinking was mainly things to strengthen the community of the thread. What do you guys think? *Prize drawings *Movies *Avatars What do you guys got?
I want Prizes!! :D
That sounds great. I'm still trying to find a night where I can stream the first 12 beatles cartoons.

It has a couple of good songs, some by-no-means-bad songs, and some songs that probably aren't that great which only Ringo can get away with. Worth a listen, it's a nice album to just leave playing without having to concentrate on it much.
SO I finally got round to listening all the way through Please Please Me. I found it pretty relaxing.

I know this isn't exactly Beatles but fuck you, I'm saying it anyways. I just got around to listening to Billy Preston's "Encouraging Words" album. There's quite a lot of covers but I just love that soul-style he puts into them. Preston seems like such a genuine person who just loves music; you can hear him laughing during many songs, just from how happy he is while singing. A lot of gospel-esque songs as well, which I enjoy even though I'm not too religious. [editline]30th November 2010[/editline] And I don't know much about Preston, only that he did a lot of stuff with The Beatles near their end. I'm assuming he was good friends with George Harrison though, since he covers 2 songs of Harrison's in "Encouraging Words".
Thankyou fkpuz. You should've been here when I became Billy Preston for a page. It was awesome. He was a truly respectable musician. [editline]30th November 2010[/editline] I found that album to be really good, seeing as it was released before all things must pass. Definitely not one to miss
Overated
