Stars don't rate music, diamonds does.
Thankyou fkpuz. You should've been here when I became Billy Preston for a page. It was awesome.
He was a truly respectable musician.

I found that album to be really good, seeing as it was released before all things must pass.
Definitely not one to miss
It was released before All Things Must Pass? Oh man, then My Sweet Lord and All Things Must Pass were covers from Preston? Or did they work on them together?
My Sweet Lord seems like a song Preston would write, so that makes sense but All Things Must Pass seems like a Harrison song through-and-through.
Well, I reckon the album was a compilation of both in terms of song writing efforts. But My Sweet Lord was definitely written when Harrison was in the Beatles.

George Harrison said his favourite version of "Something" was James Brown's :v:

Harrison had written a lot of the songs that would end up on All Things Must Pass while The Beatles were still together. There's a demo recording of All Things Must Pass on the Anthology 3 album

Just saw the Fab Four. So damn amazing. They found the drawings I did for them pretty amusing though.

:h: Night to remember. They want drawings for them to keep though so I might see about sending them something. Only because I'm a total faggot.
When I saw them last Friday George made fun of my name :saddowns:

Scrolled down the page really fast to get to the new posts, thought that was actually George Harrison for a second. It's ridiculous how much he looks like him in that photo.
Even in person he looks like George. Saw them 2 weeks ago.
I don't know, the Ringo is pretty much an exact copy.
Pascall is a girl? I really thought it was George at first but then I remembered that he is dead D:
Why didn't they make this song longer?

George has come from the past to be forever immolrtal.

And no, Pascall is the person all the way to the left.
No, I'm actually the keyboard in the last picture.
Ah, that's right. My bad, wasn't wearing my glasses.
You know what day it is.
Yes I do :frown:
RIP John Lennon. :h:
Thanks Pascall for finding this thread for me.
I've been listening to The Beatles for as long as I can remember, and have never gotten tired of them.
I recently downloaded/ripped their live performances off youtube and have been listening to that lately.
I feel fine live at shea is great.
I bought a bunch of Beatles books the other day, they're literally the only books I own.
RIP John Lennon :h:
Been a fan for a long while as well and just found this thread, can easily say that they're my favorite band :h:
So the tickets for Paul McCartney's gig in Liverpool on 20th December went on sale at 10AM today.
They were sold out by 10:17 :v:
I wish either Paul or Ringo would come down to Texas.
They probably won't any time soon though.
