I pay very close attention during lectures, so I really have no problem with tests. The only problem I have is attendance, and getting the work done.
same here
1) Sit behind your classmate.
2) Tape all the information u need into his seat.
3) Copy paste the answers.
4) Leave the classroom like a boss

Also I agree with the people who don't like cheating. I actually never cheated on a test during my entire school life don't get me wrong I was tempted plenty of times to do the "strain eyes and glance over at the person next to me" thing but I didn't think it was worth potentially getting caught. If I didn't know the material on a test I'd just cut my losses and try my best. Can only really blame myself for not knowing the subject matter and being a procrastinator.
Yes. Either sack up and work for your grades or accept the consequences like a responsible adult.
If you need to cheat in high school you're just a lazy shit and if you cheat in college you're robbing yourself of knowledge you will likely need for your future career and hence your employer of skills they expect you to have.
I TOTALLY AGREE WITH JOHNNYMO
YOUR WORTH IS DEFINED ENTIRELY MY YOUR ABILITY TO REGURGITATE PRELEARNED FACTS ON COMMAND.
LISTEN TO THIS MAN'S WISDOM.
:golfclap:
At this point in my high school career the tests are either too easy to be worth cheating on or are too difficult for anyone to know the answer anyway and we all just kind of have to ride the curve.
Strangely enough I have a teacher with the same last name and he teaches Advanced US Government..
its not tiger blood, its acient blood running through my vains
I had a religion test once and I could not for the life of me remember a Hindu symbol, I thought about it for 3 minutes and thanked something you shouldn't thank, ever.

Did you cheat on the test where you learned what a straw man argument is
[editline]16th March 2011[/editline]
Did you get caught and have your test taken away?
I was the person who worked for his grades that everyone else wanted to cheat off of. Particularly in physics class.
Anyone who cheats on a test deserves to have their testicles removed. (Or comparable body part if testicles are unavailable.)
No, everybody cheating on tests needs to get an extra free pair, because it takes balls to do it, and if you do it right you're a winner for life.

Um, no. Ultimately yes, but not absolutely.
Some classes just aren't worth the time and for those classes I do everything in my power to not waste time on them while still getting a decent grade.
Remember Johnny, you do all the school work for yourself and to become knowledgeable. Not just to impress other people. I say that because you sound a little bitter.

wow really because I was just jumping through hoops so people would clap for me but you make a good point
Don't like this new story telling style of drawing, prefered his disney one.
It's funny because people think they should get credit for putting in effort without putting in any effort
Well, none past cheating/complaining for a better grade
I don't get why cheating in school is so frowned upon, people cheat all the time in the real world and there's no teacher/principal/whatever to punish you for doing it so you get away with it.
Plus, if you're cheating you're being resourceful of your environment. If the smart kids can't be smart enough to cover up their own fucking test and then you can easily see all their answers, that's their own fault.
Prepared for dumbs but I don't give a fuck.
If your skill at something amounts to being able to being able to copy what someone else is doing, why would I ever want to hire you or whatever? That's not being resourceful, that's being a waste of space.
i remember preparing myself some tickets, but never used them.
Got 8- in that physics test, and i recovered my 3 :buddy:
I went in to ask a teacher about a test I was going to take, he left the room and the answer key to that very test was sitting face up on his desk. So I took out my pen and wrote and all the answers down. Aced the test. If there is a way to cheat without getting caught, I'll do it.

I shouldn't flame a mod.

I'm a web developer and I frequently subcontract out specialised work and attached design work.
If I were picking people based on this thread, guess who I'd pick. :science:
The guy who will follow will sit there and follow a book to the letter and produce an efficient site that is mind numbing to stare at, or the guy who comes in and goes "SHIT LOOK WHAT I FOUND OVER THE WEEKEND, LET'S MAKE OUR OWN VERSION OF IT"
Did you cheat on the test where you learned what a straw man argument is
Also, I'm not challenging your argument, trying to apply logic and reason to a conclusion based entirely on moralistic principles is redundant. I'm challenging your reasons for beginning that train of thought that drew you to that conclusion in the first place.

What happened to the guy who created the website the second guy ripped off? Maybe you should be hiring him. He's the only one mentioned with any actual ingenuity.

Yes, and in the process you're turning my argument into something it isn't. I don't believe someone's worth is wholly based on their ability to regurgitate fact. That's why it's a straw man.
The guy that made the video in the OP is really funny. I recommend his Confessions of a Disney Employee video, it's great.
Honestly. You forget most things when you go to college, so I say cheat. Grades are all that matter anyways.
Honestly it doesn't matter too much if people cheat, because they're only fucking themselves over once they go to higher education. For example, in my robotics engineering program only about 36 applicants were let in. Of the 25 still left, all the people who obviously just cheated through high school have already failed out because the idiots thought they'd never need to know what they cheated through.
Ladies, handbags down - stop fighting. Nobody wants to read through the next googolplexian of your arguing.

Great example, even if it only really applies to engineering/medicine
Nuh uh if you cheat in physics classes you could accidentally vaporize someone with a high-powered laser later.
Of course, it is a bit difficult to cheat on a PhD dissertation.

The guy behind me in our first term electronics lab almost powered up a 70V circuit entirely comprised of 1/4W resistors :geno:. He is no longer in the program.
