Honestly i probably wouldnt mind doing something like this but seriously i bet the "nerdiness" theyre looking for is way beyond what im capable of. I mean yes i sit in front of my computer all day in my, playing games, in my boxers, but im not absorbed in that fake reality.

I kind of want to audition for this and act like a social retard, smuggle in a pair of sunglasses and a pack of cigs, and a leather jacket.

Their guidelines for the audition tape are riddled with "Don't hold back, be yourself!" and "Be energetic, just have fun!" multiple times over. You know they're looking for the freaks.

I would love to be the normal guy who jovially makes fun of everyone and make the nerds angry because I thought Darth Vader was played by Patrick Stewart. That would actually be so much fun, but even if I did live in the US, I don't think I would be an ideal candidate.

Someone should send in a video of themselves doing nerdy things in unlikely situations, like D&D on a rollercoaster or particle physics while wakeboarding

I have a friend that just loves to say "Nerds like us" (referring to me and him) in front of girls I'm talking to (you know when it feels like you're getting tunnel vision due to the rage? Yeah). Of course it depends on what you mean by nerd, some people label anyone that has an IQ higher than room temperature a nerd, in that case there is absolutely nothing wrong with labelling yourself as such.

We are encouraged to take pride in our hobbies and to accept ourselves for who we are. I don't know about you, but I wasn't the most popular student at my High School, but I was never ridiculed or harassed for liking computers, science and comic books. Life isn't an 80's movie...
