"I'm not here to make friends... because that's actually very difficult for me." [editline]2nd January 2012[/editline] The Millennial Generation (in the States) is lucky to have grown up in a society, and with parents, that don't necessarily force them into certain social paradigms. We are encouraged to take pride in our hobbies and to accept ourselves for who we are. I don't know about you, but I wasn't the most popular student at my High School, but I was never ridiculed or harassed for liking computers, science and comic books. Life isn't an 80's movie...
I was never interested in comic books or science, I just played games quite a lot which seemed to be accepted for the most part as long as you didn't do it too much.
The fact that it's being produced by the people behind Jersey Shore saddens me. With that show is obvious they are making fun of them and their freakish and superficial lifestyle. I'm not saying I sympathize with those tanned, empty-headed specimens, but now I know this new series are going to exploit the stereotypes the same way they did with the "guidos". But what the hell, that's how reality TV works. BTW, both the writing and the website are pretty cool, gotta admit that.
They probably will actually cast a token furry.
Oh God don't even put that thought in the air, next someone will be making some sort of mega-furry documentary. "Furry: A Tale of Tails, Tigers and Intercourse" v:v:v
I was never interested in comic books or science, I just played games quite a lot which seemed to be accepted for the most part as long as you didn't do it too much.
I was giving an example of my life; I also played a lot of games. I was just trying to show that I wasn't treated with great disdain because of my hobbies.
The only thing you are if you find "The Big Bang Theory" to be funny is someone with a shit sense of humor.
... celsius or fahrenheit?
my IQ is room temperature in Rankine
I think they're marketing to the latter.
I swear I've seen people on FP that look almost identical to that bottom guy with the blue shirt.
I swear I've seen people on FP that look almost identical to that bottom guy with the blue shirt.
Thanks babe~
I'd love to go on this, however I live in the UK. I'm not even nerdy in an 'obsessed with stuff' way, I just code websites and make 3d models and otherwise enjoy life, and such which I guess would still qualify me.
Well dude you're gonna be going by a script so you better be a decent actor.
How awkward it'll be if one of 'em brings a dragon dildo or a mlp fleshlight. [editline]3rd January 2012[/editline] Oh GOD the thought of that is enough to make me sick With shows like this there's bound to be a few assburgers (not Aspergers, I still find those two things entirely different) assholes around, thinking they have Asperger's and claim to be superior. [editline]3rd January 2012[/editline] I have Asperger's that means I am socially awkward so you must not talk shit about my dragon dildo or I will freak out and snap your neck
I would laugh if it had the kinda of activities these shows usually had but instead of the general chucklefucks who can't grasp the simplicity of how a sausage maker works you get a person who can grasp reality with enough force to get shit done. But then again that would be assuming that all these shows aren't just scripted bland entertainment instead of an interesting social experiment.
With shows like this there's bound to be a few assburgers (not Aspergers, I still find those two things entirely different)
how do you write that and expect other people to know what you mean
I wish we'd get more documentaries tearing down labels instead of building them up.
Speaking of which, someone needs to make a show with a campaign to decriminalize the words 'slut' and 'whore'.

They'd better have at least one instance of someone saying "LET ME EXPLAIN HOMESTUCK" and everyone promptly running away is if that person is armed with plastic explosives.
Gin and Code Red new fad. I called it
COME AT ME HEADSHOTS352, COME AT ME
I can see several fight scenes being recreated with nerds :v:
The only thing you are if you find "The Big Bang Theory" to be funny is someone with a shit sense of humor.
My opinion is the only right opinion and everyone else's can go suck a dick. That's all I see in this post and most of your posts for that matter
Well this will suck
I don't know if I would call myself a nerd, but I do spend my time doing worthwhile things instead of partying. Except this christmas break has mostly been waking up late and playing games and browsing FP but you know what I mean Partying and other social gatherings are for people who don't have anything better to do
I consider myself a nerd, among other things. I spend copious amounts of time modding Bethesda games, going on the Internet, and playing TF2, but I also go to parties and have a somewhat active social life.
My opinion is the only right opinion and everyone else's can go suck a dick.
Keep telling yourself that.
But how is partying productive? Does it help you gain skills that could help you become successful in the future and be able to work with the things you enjoy? Nope
But how is partying productive? Does it help you gain skills that could help you become successful in the future and be able to work with the things you enjoy? Nope
I'd say social skills are pretty important for most people's futures
Not being around drunken fucktards 24/7 =/= No social skills
We should collaborate to make one ridiculous yet barely plausible entry.
made my audition tape guys please tell me if its good enough
Is that a ponytail or a bunch of furry serpents sucking on his head?
I think a sledgehammer would be more appropriate, either that or something that would make a splash, like secretly attached plastic explosives.
I'd say social skills are pretty important for most people's futures
Sure but not dancing and being drunk and listening to loud music. The only parties I'd go to are small LAN parties.
