Band in a nutshell except everyone has obey snapbacks and real EOtechs.
band is 4 nerdes. drama department is where it's at yo.
Oh you mean feminists and belieberites anonymous?
When the director isn't looking during jazz band practices, my friend (a trumpet player) and I pretend to shoot each other. Gets pretty heated and sometimes ends up with a few trombones in on the action even.

more like being on crew and punching holes in the walls of sets as your striking them and then having industrial stapler fights

4leaf, another friend and i were in drama tech, building those sets
we made an awesome medieval watchtower thing, and as we were stapling the top it went through the thin ass plywood, flew threw the air, across the room and hit some kid in the back of the head
I had to build like 15 heavy as fuck 4x8 platforms and then put wheels on them for a play. by the time I had finished making them I hated them so much that me and the rest of crew would ride them around and smash them into each other.
[editline]10th March 2013[/editline]
we also had a secondary, smaller stage that we would do other plays on, and I ended up being Lenny in Of Mice and Men, and I had to build the entire set myself.
Fuck. Doors.
one of the angles went off when I was screwing the frame together and the thing fucking stuck like shit and opened on its own.
I don't get why airsoft Mosins are so damn expensive.
I just want to have an unusual gun for goofing off with!

Its a niche and largely impractical gun made by smaller manufacturers. Since there's not really any competition in the Mosin field, the creators can charge whatever they want, and anyone dead set on getting a Mosin will have to deal with it.
I have a copper sax. Bow to me you mortals.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that if you look at it the right way you can see a picture.
I'm a washed up trombone player. Trombone > most other instruments.
I was in band freshman and sophomore year. Was delegated to playing the flute because "I was pretty good". Was the only male in the flute section for two years.
Next year I'm going into digital music composition though. Expecting to see a lot of SXRILLESX wannabes lol.
If I had a nickel for every time a trombone kid hit his music with the slide I could have my alto chromed.

In 5th grade I played Trumpet. I was really bad at it and hated it so much so I refused to practice it and when time came to play in school I just blew air into it to make noises that blended in with the clusterfuck of noise coming from the other 5th grade trumpet players. I thought I was scot free and nobody noticed my lack of initiative until the solo.......We all walked into the classroom and the instructor tells us how she feels that each of us will be able to play by ourselves so she could hear the "real beauty of each and every one of us" and "appreciate it differently". It was eventually my turn and she told me a page to open in the book and the song to play "Sawmill Creek" I then, with all eyes on me, proceeded to blow air through the trumpet and frantically try and hit the valves to make notes. any notes. But the same continuous sound kept blasting until I finally give up and put it down. The instructor asked me "whats wrong?" and I just said, out of breath, "the valves. they wont move" she took my trumpet and try manipulating the valves but they didn't move one inch. She then proceeded to forcefully push on the valves but nothing happened eventually she just turned to me and said, in an almost mortified voice "What did you do to this instrument?!?!?!" I told her that it must have broke or something.
TL;DR: I sucked at trumpet and neglected my instrument then discovered how bad the extent of neglect was when I had to play a solo in front of the entire class. class.
