In other words, NO ONE GIVES A SHIT BECAUSE IT DOESN'T AFFECT THEM. They have a choice to celebrate whatever they want, and it's not like it's 100% hardcore communist. That which it borrows and that which it is meant to stand for are all good. It doesn't hurt anyone, no one gains money or worth from it, you're making a big deal over nothing because you don't like that a bunch of blacks decided it would be neat to celebrate their heritage using a seperate holiday than everyone else's, and it happens to have been created by a Marxist who applied some almost universally shared, almost universally agreed upon as good from Marxism.

And if a bunch of blacks just made their own holiday based on their actual heritage, that would be fine. The point here is not that the holiday is young or who it was created by, but that it celebrates horrible ideas and doesn't have the crutch of "tradition" of "culture" to lean on. on top of that it enforces racism and deriving ones personal identity largely from race or ancestral culture. plus it only ever gained wide spread recognition because of "white guilt".

It is silly to define oneself based on who you ancestors were, the dude who created it was a black nationalist/supremacist. People should be judged individually not on their race, nationality, or ancestral religion, or in other words not based on a collective to which you have put them in.

Just so you know the reason the Kwanza harvest is celebrated in December is because that's Africa's spring.
