Rap and Theatrical music have both seen a much larger market than in previous decades.
Preps with shutter shades?
Rap and Theatrical music have both seen a much larger market than in previous decades.
and so has everything else.
wait, this decade is the time where all types of music are produced, there is no common music like their was in other decades.
LHC should get next try on November, so there probably won't be any oneties for earth and closest part of universe.

Thirty-Ought Six
30-06
Terrorism based paranoia.
The continued rise of the internet.
Pervasiveness of reality television.

It is represented by a guitar and an amp covered in shit, with a dead black dude on it.
Recession
what's the 90's remembered for anyway? didn't the decade labeling stop at the 80's?
Internet, High Definition, Technology and Black Presidents
albinoblacksheep 2004 :D
It will probably be remembered as the daceade between the 1990's and the 2010's
Obama isn't black, although he is African American.
And the 2000s wouldn't be remembered for the Internet or High Definition either because those were revolutionized in the 1990s.
Most likely it would be things like Web 2.0, possibly Youtube, social networking sites, and 9/11.
Billy May's death...
Beginning of major changes in how religion is viewed as internet continues to inform more and more people about information and debates.
a very big increase of internet connection speed which will continue forever on from now.
9/11.
The technological advances.
The terrorsim issue.
And no, Obama won't be remembered that much. In the US most probably, but over here (in Europe, and therefore I guess that it won't be too different elsewhere) the Obama-fad is pretty much gone, nobody talks much about him anymore (sure he gets coverage, but just about as much as all other presidents) nor do they care too much about him. Sure he gets his share of attention of course, but nothing special (it all died down after about a month).
Terrorism and 4chan.
In a few decades people will look back and say "Wow that black president was a real revoloution" or "Man 9/11 was the worse thing in history" or "Isn't that when the king of pop died?"
But for us we will look back and say "Them years kinda blew"
Exactly how the 90's were. But with different milestones.
Obama isn't black, although he is African American.
He's born American with African blood and also a long American blood-line. But it's simpler just to say he's black because that's the way he looks lol
("African-American" could mean anything... born in America with an African blood-line, or born in Africa and emigrated to America, even if you're white and born in South Africa (Mike Judge makes that point on his new show))
I just remembered that line from Red Dwarf: Back to Earth
"2009? Isn't that the year when the banks went bust and all the money became worthless?"
ought isn't a word though.
I ought to punch you.
Billy May's death...
Too soooooooon!
ought isn't a word though.
You ought to pick up a dictionary, boy.
a huge 10 year technological leap from that brick-phone using, VCR watching, and DOOM playing decade we all know and love, the 1990s.
Seriously though I'll view the 2000s as a consumer technological revolution. With the integration of the internet and the popularity of home computers.

There's plenty of musical talent in the current decade.
