its including the 4th dimension as 4 dimensional space you can use 4 dimensional space in mathematics read about it on wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four-dimensional_space also the third dimension would not look flat it would look like the third dimension
lol, I guess that explains why I'm not a major in theoretical physics. I don't really understand it all and for me to read about it and thoroughly grasp and understanding it'd probably take an entire day of reading page after page on similar subjects.
also the third dimension would not look flat it would look like the third dimension
i don't think he meant it that literally, he was just trying to put into words the way a dimension that we can't physically imagine "looks down" on another one, just as the 3rd looks down on the 2nd. don't want to shove words into his mouth though.
sometimes I think I should go to uni and do philosophy then just drop a bunch of acid

There are interesting philosophies and then there are things like Leibniz's monads that are just like "what is wrong with you" Might as well just read about it on the Internet if you're going to spend mad dosh on a university philosophy education and just trip during it.

I meant in comparison :v:

that is a much better idea
sometimes I think I should go to uni and do philosophy then just drop a bunch of acid
if only it was that simple, lol. philosophy classes aren't exactly like this thread.
yea man I did a philosophy paper and it was real similar to programming
So... what if we stop thinking with the conventional sense and instead tap into the potential of universal knowledge i dunno how to explain it but, the universe understands all that is, because it is literally "beneath" existance at all times/from all angles, and then it forms matter and molecules and all sorts of wonders leading up to conscious entities , experiences that tap into that knowledge of all things, and collectively know all of existence the universe is a giant brain that can experience everything at once, understand all and the human brain is a fractal component of the universal consciousness and we're just in tune with it just had a few bowls and this trip has geared itself up again [editline]28th September 2012[/editline] So... what if we stop thinking with the conventional sense and instead tap into the potential of universal knowledge i dunno how to explain it but, the universe understands all that is, because it is literally "beneath" existance at all times, and then it forms conscious entities , experiences that tap into that knowledge of things, and collectively know all of existence just had a few bowls and this trip has geared itself up again
timothy leary was really big on that, getting in touch with the higher intelligence that is out there somewhere in space, according to him and other psychonauts who spent time with him in jail that is our ultimate goal, to evolve to the point where we can become one with whatever "higher intelligence" there is in the universe. quote from cosmic trigger:
“It is time for life on Earth to leave the planetary womb and learn to walk through the stars. “Life was seeded on your planet billions of years ago by nucleotide templates which contained the blueprint for gradual evolution through a sequence of biomechanical stages. “The goal of evolution is to produce nervous systems capable of communicating with and returning to the Galactic Network where we, your interstellar parents await you. “Life on planet Earth has now reached this halfway point, established itself, and evolved through larval mutations and metamorphoses to the seven brain stages. “At this time the voyage home is possible. “Assemble the most intelligent, advanced, courageous of your species, divided equally between men and women. Let every race, nationality and religion be represented. “You are about to discover the key to immortality in the chemical structure of the genetic code, within which you will find the scripture of life. The time has come for you to accept the responsibility of immortality. It is not necessary for you to die. “You will discover the key to enhanced intelligence within the chemistry of the nervous system. Certain chemicals, used wisely, will enable your nervous system to decipher the genetic code. “All life on your planet is a unity. All life must come home. “Total freedom, responsibility and interspecies harmony will make the voyage possible. You must transcend larval identities of race, culture and nationality. Your only allegiance is to life. The only way you will survive is to make the voyage home. “The Japanese people are the most advanced race on your planet and will give protection to the company. “We are sending a comet to your solar system as a sign that the time has come to look to the stars. “When you arrive back home you will be given new instructions and powers. Your sperm ship is the flower of terrestrial life. As soon as the company is formed and the voyage begun, war, poverty, hatred and fear will disappear from your planet and the most ancient prophecies and celestial visions will be realized. “Mutate! “Come home in glory.”
oh hi i noticed this thread on the ticker do I have to be a stoner to post in here
hell naw
oh hi i noticed this thread on the ticker do I have to be a stoner to post in here
420 blaze it faggot [editline]28th September 2012[/editline] jk bro, it's cool. no hate allowed in DD
I always think it's interesting how when I think about the universe, I am really the universe considering itself. True story: The universe is the only device which can calculate the motions of all particles. If a computer existed within the universe that could predict the motions of all particles, neither the universe nor the computer would be able to predict the motion of the other one.

I like to think that perceived reality is a simulation caused by energy exchange i mean, everything we understand is a result of chemical and electrical signals within our brain, and the more in depth it goes the more we realize the world, the universe etc,
but what do you actually mean by that
i like to think we are all the universe subjectively experiencing itself. kinda like johnny said.
but what do you actually mean by that
sorry I can't quite put it to words, and I was still in the after glow of tripping and pretty damn stoned uhm, something about how the universe understands itself through us, collectively we've accumulated knowledge about the universe that creates rules of reality so to speak, If we are the universe experiencing itself, then think about when the whole world would have thought the earth was the center of the universe. To the universe, that is how it understood itself then it must have once thought the world was flat too it understands itself through us, so we have perceived reality, and the more we understand it the more we realize everyday phenomenon to be natural, physically and scientifically explainable etc.
i like to think we are all the universe subjectively experiencing itself. kinda like johnny said.
have you ever tried to shake your own hand?
im not one of the fantastic four
I think it's funny that artificial selection is really just slightly more complex natural selection
when you get right down to it there's no such thing as artificial selection because natural selection created it in the first place.
yeah but its not like everything we know is not actually there, our brains are just letting us experience it [editline]30th September 2012[/editline] im not sure how but i feel like that came out wrong

So many lobotomized shells surrounding us -- people who actually enjoy the system, second rate existence.
yes but there's nothing wrong with letting yourself fit into the system as long as you're aware of the system, that's how I see it anyway why should I let my knowledge of stop me from taking advantage of and making a life for myself by using the system, it'd be a stupid idea to notice it and go run off into the woods to hide from it or something, it's just pointless [editline]30th September 2012[/editline] I mean we are designed to be social
