As Suttles said, we could give less of a fuck that you don't care about humanitarianism. If you CLAIM to have experience and that what we're doing has no effect, you're lying, pure and simple. I've done plenty of volunteering in disaster areas, and the money that people donate DO make a difference.

Since the 2004 tsunami I'm not donating any money to these kind of funds anymore.

Because 90% ends up where it shouldn't be. I've seen reports on houses that were built there where they didn't even finish 1/3 of it, hell there wasn't even a door in the damn house.
I would donate money to people I trust though. I know people that go to these kind of places every year to help out and they have proof that they've been there to help out.
Also Shogunner, 1 dollar could buy them that water but that doesn't mean that it will be bought.
all I'm saying is that I don't want to be double fucked by some rich guy, I want the money to go to the people that really need it. I've seen this happen every single big disaster, why would this one be different?
