"That's your fault I ran out inbetween two cars without looking."
Could've won a Darwin award that's for sure.

Is that in the Gnagara pines or somewhere else? Looks very familar, I took my car there and hooned around in it.
I haven't had a crash myself yet. But I've been in the car when my brother rolled my Dad's two day old (Brand new from the dealership) Toyota Landcruiser that cost $70,000.
My dad was not impressed.

Nah about 40 minutes south of Perth.
i will remember my car crash on 2008-march-12 ........... hooo..
First time driving, 16 years old, no instructions whatsoever, my dads on my side. I drive for about 10 minutes with finest precision with my luck on 70 skill points and suddenly a car shows in front of me. I panic since i didnt even knew the right pedals, my dad tries to take over, in all the confusion, we ram into a tree in a fast 3km per hour speed, and as the car was pretty old it broke almost all its frontside just with that. Pretty embarrassing, since i could see the smug face of the girl who was driving the other car. Mom got angry as fuck since she paid for the last crash my dad had with the same car. Good ol time with my dad, never forget. rip

Why the fuck did your dad let you drive a car without you even knowing the pedals properly?

he was not the smartest fish in the tank ok?
im not either, so what a duo.
Not a car but snowmobile, last years i was following someone trail and it led me directly on a 10m deep pit, i dropped the steering it mid air, my skidoo hit the ground first and like 1.5- 2 sec later i dropped right on my machine, busted my knee but not broken, the impact was so hard it broke the frame at 2 spot and the engine was not straight anymore.
My first and only crash was from this year. I was taking my sister to a private lesson and stopped in a left turn lane- 3rd car there. We got a green arrow, but the very first car was moving so slow and reacted so late that only the cars in front of me were able to go before the arrow turned yellow. Came to a stop, which by that time the light turned red. About a second or two later and I felt a thud. When I could, I made a left turn and immediately turned into a parking lot, which the other driver did as well. I was shaking from the crash when we traded insurance, to which the woman asked if she could pay the cost to repair my car if it was cheap enough instead of sending it to the insurance, which I agreed to. I wasn't even a block away from my house when that happened. The lady was nice, though, and she knew it was her fault.
I didn't even want to leave the house right before that crash happened.
I've had some terrible luck with driving in the 3 years or so I've had my license.
When I had my permit, I backed up way too far in my grandma's RAV4 and smashed the bumper on a boat. A year or so later, it was winter and I hit a patch of black ice turning onto my street and smashed the tail light out on my mom's jeep and completely destroyed the quarter panel of someone's truck. The day of my graduation, someone backed into my dad's car while I was driving. Most recently, I was driving on a dirt road in the aforementioned jeep going way too fast for my own good and rolled it 3 times going around 60 MPH. The people in the ambulance told me that if it wouldn't have rolled mid-air, the roof would've caved in and killed me.
Oddly enough, I was hurt far worse in a bicycle crash going around 5 MPH than any of the car accidents I've been in.
I'm quite into the game of getting ridiculous miles per gallon so I drive slow and steady and think way too far ahead since acceleration costs fuel (every time I brake I'm like "this is wasting fuel" in my mind). No accidents or close calls yet, been driving for 4 years.
Rear ended my mustang in a McDonalds parking lot. You can guess how high my insurance shot up after this.

That was the last time I didn't do the "back up only halfway" method for reversing out of a parking stall.

I was reversing out of the drive way too quick and did a number on my Dad's rear view mirror because i hit the edge of the garage
Just about a month ago I was driving home on the highway going 65 when there was a dead deer in the middle of my lane. Instead of swerving to avoid it, I ran over it and my car lost traction and rolled once or twice. Then someone hit me head-on, due to my car facing oncoming traffic. They were hit three times the last one was a semi who jackknifed trying to stop.

I nudged a sign in a very small parking lot once. That's about the worst I've done.
I get killed almost every day on my motorcycle. Dumb fuckers driving.
The worst I've done was flip over a Coupe RZR (golf cart on steroids) with some friends. Amusing that I was hanging in the seat and bitching at my friends for the lack of help at the moment and then fall to the ground after unbuckling myself.
However, I do have a story that involved my mom being a nut with the truck while in the snow of her house's yard while I was still in her custody.
So, returning from Burger King with some chicken fries and a shake, my mom thought it was a good idea to do some drifting in our yard. So, here's little me holding to my precious chicken fries while my mom was drifting in our yard. Until we hit a tree in our yard.
Luckily, the crash was minor and didn't fire the airbags so it only left me with exploded milkshake in my hair and a busted radiator.

lol yeah I instagramed it for friends back home to see how good my driving was but didn't wanna facebook it for the family to see.
After all attempts to call 999, 112, 911 and 000 failed. Taking photos of my fuck up seemed the next logical step.
-snip-
Not really interesting
Two months ago I went to the grocery store and a car came right up behind me. Eye witnesses later claimed that the car was only inches away from my bumper.
I slowed down as best I could for the turn coming up ahead so I could just get out of the way.
As I was turning though I fucked up and wasn't paying close attention to everything else. I had seen other cars and had gauged them to be at a more than safe distance in the oncoming lane so I made the turn, but for what I gauged in distance I didn't gauge too much in speed.
I took a speeding range rover (65mph+) right to the passenger side of my car.

My mom told me a story about how she was traveling with her two siblings and her parents back when she was still young. It was snowing heavily that night with very low visibility when they came up to a stopped jeep in the middle of a long stretch of road. The jeep had crashed into a lamp post and so my grandpa got out of the car and went over to the jeep. There was a dead man laying across the hood of the jeep. Apparently, the soft siding of the jeep cabin allowed him to eject from the car and kill him. Very brutal. I think they called the cops and went on they're way. It definitely made an impression on my grandmother.
I've never been in a proper accident, but I did dent my Dad's car back in High School. I ended up running into someone's trailer hitch that came out like a fucking mile (okay, it was like a foot from the car, but damn). I felt so bad, as he always kept that car nice and clean, never a scratch on it. Now, there was a massive dent and monstrous scratches. He was rather upset on the phone, but when I drove home, he was okay.
Otherwise, I guess I've gotten pretty lucky.
i've had 3 crashes.
all while learning to drive with my driving instructor.
first 2 where rather minor, i reversed into a car, and while trying to do a hill start the car rolled backwards and into a lorry.
the LAST one was major.
driving along this road with my instructor sitting next to me, he tells me i'm to far over on the right side of the road (almost crossing the lines) and should scoot over, not three seconds after he says that, a car smashed into us sheering off my wing-mirror and shattering all the glass on my side of the car and completely brakes the windshield.
i panic and fling the car to the left where i smash into another parked car spinning myself out into the middle of the road. (a third car hits us, but he was braking so the hit was nothing more than a slight tap that didn't even damage his car.)
haven't driven since.
Since this thread is here too, I'll post here.
So just last night I was in an accident.

I am gray. Other guy is green.

He blew through the red arrow and slammed into my front quarter panel (if I hadn't veered to the right the moment I realized he wasn't stopping, he would have hit the front, on the passenger side, and I'd be totally fucked up). His vehicle also did something akin to bouncing and hit my rear driver side door. When he hit, all I did was bounce around in my seat a bit, no injuries (except minor neck/back pain, probably from tensing up/ moving around in the seat). As soon as I realized what happened, I put my vehicle in park, turned it off and removed the keys from the ignition, and hopped out to see if the other guy was alright.
He didn't look it. His airbag had deployed, and he had blood running down his face. I took command of the situation and moved to his door, verifying that he was awake and could move. First thing he said was that we should move our vehicles, and a flag popped up in my mind. I wasn't moving vehicles until I got pictures, so I took some pictures really quickly and then called 911. The entire time, I made sure to keep talking to the guy about what I was doing to make sure he didn't have a concussion. After getting a hold of emergency services, one of the witnesses came by, and he was red cross certified or something (I hadn't renewed mine since 2008, so I let him take control of the other guy, giving him a clean undershirt from my car to use as a bandage). Once I got off the phone with emergency services, I took a look at the vehicles.
Damn. Both front ends were fucked up, and both were leaking oil big-time. I saw that the tire was bent way out of proportion, and my headlight was just fucking gone, with the bulb hanging like an eyeball out of the socket. I also found that my rear door would not open. Soon, police arrived and got statements, i found out the guy was trying to say that my headlights were out, but after the cop talked to the witnesses, he didn't even need to ask me what had happened. The guy blew the red arrow, turned into me, who had a green and was driving the speed limit, and my headlights were on.
The entire time, I wasn't even angry. I kinda removed myself from emotions so I could just act, so I could make sure no one was hurt, and to expedite the situation. It wasn't until I went to collect my stuff from my car today at the collision center that I really felt the anger. I loved my car, and now it's totaled.
A small plus though: the other guy was being arrested when I left, so either it was a DUI or a suspended license (or a warrant for his arrest, but I feel like that's a lot less likely.) I'll have to try and find out what happened with him.
