is something common in spain i dont live in spain i don't know i just found iit funny they are all like "JODER,COÑO,MAJA,HOSTIAS"
The player that got two yellows hadn't done anything worth a red.
You DO know of the rule that states that when a player gets 2 yellow cards in the same match (or 2 matches, I forget) he automatically gets a red card, right?
same match
@ Big Bang: Un Venezolano en Facepunch!!!!!???!?? El mundo si es pequeño.

I made a thinko I meant that both things were hardly worth a yellow, especially considering the stuff he let go by without any punishment.
Referee was biased
Referee was biased
The word 'obvious' ceases to be adequate here.
Germany is still victorious:
Thomas Müller is Top-Scorer with 5 goals and 3 assists!!
DEUTSCHLAND!! DEUTSCHLAND!!
It's hard to call him biased when the Netherlands gave him every reason to be harsh with his calls against them.
Playing dirty to begin with, then getting up in his face when he called a penalty or pulled a card.
Referee was biased
No he wasn't. He gave Spain 5 yellow cards. Holland could of had another man sent off for what De jong did to Alonso. Holland had their chances with Robben and blown them. Spain had their chance and took it. They can't blame the ref. Simple

I think you're the one who can't accept that your country played poor and didn't deserve to win. So lets blame the ref for our countries poor performance shall we?

If the other team keeps diving at the slightest hint (or none at all) of a foul, I would call 'getting up in his face' pretty fucking justified.

Oh right, he was totally right when whatshisname pushed van Bommel aside and didn't do shit about it. Oh, and all the other times when the Spanish were being cuntwads too.

uber alles?
Also the dutch players acted like twats for most of the first half. The ref made some bad calls but most of the time they didn't give him any choice.

As if Spain was playing all fair and nice. Jesus, did they think it was a diving competition or something?
And don't get me started on what some of them did and got away with lightly:

If Holland played better and took their chances then they would not have to rely on the calls the ref makes.

Did the Dutch think this was the UFC?

Are you implying a biased ref doesn't influence the game?
Did the Dutch think this was the UFC?
It seems Spain thought the same at times.
Weren't that many dives just soft Spanish players.
Most of the Dutch fouls we're worth yellow cards.

Let's not call it a biased ref but a shit ref and an inconsistent ref, either give reds/double yellows for things that deserve it or don't give them at all.
You can interpret the rules in quite a view ways as a referee but don't change those interpretationss during the game.
Horrible horrible game overall but Spain deserved it considering their play. Netherlands was way too dirty and harsh it looked so ugly and completely unnecessary with that playing style. There could've been many more red cards. Never the less congrats to Spain ! Viva España !
Netherlands would have won with 2 penalty kicks that were not awarded to them. On two occasions it was down to last man and goalie. Spain fouled the last man with no intention of playing the ball. By the rule book that should be a penalty kick.

Honestly it's more the ref's job to keep the game going at a steady pace and keep the players in line and playing fairly than it is to be a human rule book.
And honestly he was pretty good at doing that.
Btw, the head ref was the same one who did so badly in the european cup as well.
Fifa politics rule the game. Petty little things like rules dont matter to them.
That ref gave out a shitload of cards. They made a record for most cards in a final.

I like how you put "maja" which means "nice female person" between curse words, and I'd actually like to find out where you read that as being bad.
Also, for everyone saying that Spain should've won because of all the fouls Holland made, Spain wasn't exactly playing nice either.
I think Webb did a good job in this final as well as the Champions League final earlier this year. He could've even given out more red cards in this match.
