Pretty much yes, as stated earlier this is a conversation of that game but as a tabletop type of game. :)
I could do that, but I want to make it more fun for the whole community which is the reason why I made a conversation of the game so that people can follow it in 'realtime' in general discussion instead of watching some playthrough in the games section.

I'm hoping to steer it away from pathetically failing by adding a prize so that people will at least try to win, I fear the last try of mine failed because of too complicated rules with economy etc. This time you'll only have to worry about it in the beginning and the rest of the time is spent on "defending" your faction.

Yeah it messes up with how large everything should be, it's purely out of simplicity and game balance issues I do it.

Well he can have North of Africa maybe and ill get south and halve the points and city allowances?... I was thinking that he was more suggesting that, So that why i said South.

No.
The rules are less than half of the OP, it just looks like a lot of text because unit description and the factions take up a lot of space. :)
