Why would I want to think about dicks and kebabs when I can just use context clues and know she meant vaginas?
I replied to Seith who said "shouldn't it be a metaphor for men?".
so guys i have this sort of silly thing i need to get off my chest i'm scared to death of one day being gay - i've never had a crush on a girl, but i do look at (some) girls and think "gee she's pretty" or "wish i looked like that" - i have watched lesbian or solo-girl porn before, but i'm not really sure whether i've done it because i relate to the pleasure the girls get, but not the pleasure guys get - like, i know how it feels for a girl but not for a guy - i have a boyfriend, and we do rock the bed quite a lot and it's not like i think about girls while doing it but i just can't get rid of the "what if i'm just gay all along?" it's so silly but it's really messing with my head i have a lot of ocd symptoms and my boyfriend and whole family is convinced i have it and i don't know if that might have something to do with it - what i really need is for someone to say to me in a convincing tone that i'm not fucking gay and it's not like being gay would be that bad for me, seeing as my whole family is quite acceptant - i guess my biggest fear is that i wouldn't have my boyfriend if i was gay, and i can't stand that thought
yeah your fear isn't really related to being gay. it's just the path your mind takes when your anxieties takes over. i think you just need to calm your nerves a bit and not get too bothered by things that haven't happened yet. my mind pretty much works exactly the same way, i think of strange and illogical situations when my anxieties take over and i do have quite an anxiety problem.
seith, this is a kebab [t]http://knowladge.webs.com/photos/2_Doner_Kebabs.jpg[/t] and it does not resemble a cock and balls by any stretch of the imagination
eh sorry to interrupt the culture hour but in Israel a kebab is this: and in the UK the kebab you buy in a shop is usually with bread like this: so uh i'm hungry now
seith, this is a kebab [t]http://knowladge.webs.com/photos/2_Doner_Kebabs.jpg[/t] and it does not resemble a cock and balls by any stretch of the imagination
Over in America we say "roast beef sandwiches". All of them ruin food for me, I am not gay but god damn vaginas are ugly. Hence the term "bumping uglies"
Over in America we say "roast beef sandwiches".
it's not roast beef!
all of it works when you consider kebab just means roast meat
well balls ain't that great to look at either if i'm honest so let's just settle with boobs are nice? [editline]21st January 2012[/editline] in the UK doner kebab = sliced meat off those big processed roller things shish kebab = roast chunks of meat on a stick
in the UK doner kebab = sliced meat off those big processed roller things shish kebab = roast chunks of meat on a stick
This, eastern countries probably wouldn't have heard of the doner as much.
doner kebab = sliced meat off those big processed roller things shish kebab = roast chunks of meat on a stick
yeah but who eats the kebab without the bread, the bread is the best part
ew no i love a good pitta and hummus, but when it's kebab time i get that meat with chips! [editline]21st January 2012[/editline] so greasy so ugly so terrible so goooood
im so hungry for something gross now
well balls ain't that great to look at either if i'm honest so let's just settle with boobs are nice? [editline]21st January 2012[/editline] in the UK doner kebab = sliced meat off those big processed roller things shish kebab = roast chunks of meat on a stick
strange how pretty much all genitalia is not particularly attractive and it's mostly our secondary sex characteristics [editline]21st January 2012[/editline] Actually now that I think about it, that makes perfect sense.
so let's just settle with boobs are nice?
You sure you aren't gay?
i love a good pitta and hummus
I love hummus! My sister and I were vegan for a while and we made homemade lemon hummus, peanut hummus and spicy hummus! It was always fun to see what we could put into that dip as it is so versatile, it is probably one of the only vegan things I didn't absolutely hate.
my local foreign supermarket sells it for £1.70 for a kilo, and it's good stuff and 4 bags of 5 pitta breads for £1. whack a couple of pitta under the grill, cut into fingers once toasted and dip with that hummus - amazing!
£1.70 for a kilo holy shit that's gloriously cheap
yep! i'm sure gonna miss it when we move in a few weeks. that said, it's only a smallish bus journey from our new place, and the good prices on fruit and veg would make it well worth a weekly trip back!
What the fuck. I have opened Pandora's box. ..... damn

I have opened Pandora's box. ..... damn
welcome to hell enjoy your delicious stay [editline]22nd January 2012[/editline] food is tangentially relevant anyway, because eating can be a very social activity
that meat with chips!
too much

That is why me and my sis learned to make it and is also reason why we mainly quit being vegan as everything was too expensive.
euguhugh I am convinced I'm going to go out today solely to buy a kebab.
if i hadn't already had my tea (and a bar of chocolate) i think i would have gone and gotten myself one. but now it's late and i should probably go to bed instead of going out and buying a kebab. maybe tomorrow... :c [editline]21st January 2012[/editline] if i hadn't already had my tea (and a bar of chocolate) i think i would have gone and gotten myself one. but now it's late and i should probably go to bed instead of going out and buying a kebab. maybe tomorrow... :c
I met a girl in my class at the university, who is pretty cool. We both talked a lot and so on, I went out with some friends and she was with us. It was great fun and we had quite a blast. Now we both talk regularly and meet up to study or spend lunch together. I really started liking her very much, she is so awesome and has a nice personality. Once we went out only us 2, it sure was funny and I actually spent the night at her place, although I did not want to make any move because I did not want to screw up this whole thing. The only big downside is that I do not really find her that attractive, it may sound rude but that always plays a large role to. So, I am somewhat confused on what to do.

(I would never ask a girl this who is within arm reach) I am pretty much a bottomless pit and I am worried one day my metabolism will keel over and I won't be able to cope and will become overweight. I already have diabetes so I dont need more shit to deal with!

If you guys have hit it off but you're not sexually attracted to her then whatever you've made yourself a cool friend.
Yeah, but I wish there was more to it. Maybe I just need to wait how things evolve.
Do you have a bad metabolism and have to watch what you eat? (I would never ask a girl this who is within arm reach)
i am currently pretty inactive and looking to lose a bit of weight, if that's what you mean? :v: i think when i start work i'm pretty much going to die, i find i need 10+ hours sleep and that's on a pretty inactive regime. once i have to be up, out and about... agh i don't know what it's going to be like. bed at 10pm sharp!
Sorry to jump back to this topic, but kebab is basically just meat of any kind. A Shish kebab is a kebab on a skewer and a Döner kebab is just a kebab that is cooked on a vertical spit. Most western cultures will think of the skewered variety when they think of kebabs, but us brits think of the rotating spit type as it's sort of a British Delicacy, for some odd reason. I know my kebabs.
