the week before christmas I decided to ask this girl out, but then I got sick
finally the day before break I was better, so I was going to wait till I normally talk to her in one of my classes, but it turned out since she's in chorus they all were going around the school singing christmas carols during that class and I couldn't find her
then I decided I would just ask for her number on facebook even though thats kinda lame because I didn't want to wait for the whole break, but it turned out she had her facebook completely private (a bunch of kids did this because of college apps)
then this past week now that I'm finally back, she's been sick (like I said earlier)
now she finally un-privated her facebook and I'm not sure if I want to ask her on it or not
I feel like I've waited long enough for an opportunity to ask her out, I haven't even seen her in like 3 weeks, but I also think facebook is a lame way to do it

do colleges really sniff about on your facebook? I find that hard to believe, and have never heard of anyone doing that until now.
Hey, Seith, I'm really glad you post here. While my opinions might differ from yours occasionally, you make some really solid points, and you seem really quite knowledgeable.

no I doubt they do, and also you can make it private to everyone except your friends and it would be fine anyway

half of the school simply changed their names to something "witty" as if that stops colleges from finding it
even though facebook keeps your old name linking to your new one for like a year after you change it

3 weeks is a long time, build your attraction again when you meet her and ask her out. Not on facebook.

if she's feverish ask her out, if she's not get her number (or just take her phone so next week you can be all "hey wow somehow I took your phone from your house I guess it was convenient because now I have a great excuse to talk to you. also here are your panties I guess I just found them lol")

I think some small talk has it's place
unless the difference between 'how are you' being small talk or not is actually dependent on whether you care about the answer
and obviously I'd care about the answer because otherwise why on earth would I ask
Most people act on "auto pilot". Don't you know those people that see you in a mall and go, "what are you doing here?!?!?!" "what the fuck would I be doing in a mall?!?!?!"
They just shallowly blur out their usual automated responses instead of actually being genuine and saying what's really on your mind.

Set goals; What do you want to get from her? Have sex? Long term, short term relationships?
Change state of mind; Be awesome. Feel awesome. I'll give you an example -

The air - was it thick, hard to breathe? The weather, was it raining, sunny?
Where was it - in the kitchen, in the bedroom, on the floor?

Now I want you to feel her. How does she feel? smooth and maybe sweaty?
What does she smell like? fruity, or maybe is it, just intoxicating you can't tell?
You guys just had sex. How do you feel? Do you feel amazing, yet you're still uncertain but you feel like you've done something that have changed you life, right?
That's what you need to feel. That's that state of mind men have every time they have sex. As if everybody can feel it. But it's not them, it's just you showing your pride in yourself.
Achieve your goals; this should be easy now. Suddenly, the facts escape you. You don't need them, you know she wants you. Approach her with the intent to have her and a better state of mind and everything shall be revealed instantly.

Well, I've had this friend for almost two years now (truth be told, we really first got to know eachother well a year ago), and we've fooled around a bit. We've seen eachother a lot more the last few months, and well, I've been open for something to happen. Seems like something did happen, and we'll see how it works out the next couple of weeks.
