There's an aircraft carrier that's been turned in to a museum not too far away from me. Buzz Aldrin and a bunch of other people who were involved in the Apollo 10 and 11 missions will be there to celebrate this.
guys moon landing is fake
same people that claimed moon landing was a hoax believe that 9/11 was arranged by CIA now.
comforting to know that those people are not in charge of anything and the world just goes on regardless of their opinions.
as for the topic - go NASA!
What should be the next step: colonization of Moon or man on Mars?

I never quite understood why Aldrin ended up being the media celebrity from all that. Collins certainly put more effort into public awareness and donated tons of money to aircraft museums. Of course, he was the astronaut that didn't get to walk on the surface, so maybe he is unfairly ignored for that. I don't know Armstrong's excuse, though. I still get a kick from watching the video of him getting his boot stuck in the LM ladder.
I hate how americans would say its an american effort. It should be a human effort, not just an american one.

But it WAS an American effort. Sure, the people came from all sorts of different nationalities, but they all united under the American flag. Hell, Von Braun used to be a Nazi, but he surrendered to the Americans and they promptly hired him as a naturalized engineer. The Saturn V is considered his greatest achievement.

One small step for (a) man, one giant leap for mankind.
Not, "One giant leap for American superiority".
