Some doodles I did a while back, even though I haven't had much motivation lately. Still like to share though.
whooah, awesome use of textures. Even if the school project called for it, that's still awesome.
Thanks. everyone could do it in their own way, i came up with use of real life textures. The teacher really liked mine, and now all the others are hating me i think. :/ I was inspired by the paper mario games and little big planet.

A Fallout3 movie that I never got to finish:
Was that supposed to be serious? I couldn't take it as such, because of that fucking ridiculous hair mod.. I couldn't see that even working in real life, let alone a post-apocalyptic world. It's like something from final fantasy and just completely didn't work. Glowing white hair. Seriously. Also it was really really slow. Virtually nothing happened. Three things in total: Find sledge hammer, go to megaton, hit guy. That's one thing per minute of video.
blah blah blah more attempts at character art for my flash game.

I agree with Rusty on that dude's picture. The effect he has going is very sleek and awesome. Reminds me of professional old Disney cartoons or something. Anyone with knowledge on Photoshop want to help me out real quick? I will be forever in your debt. I have an image and I want to use have a gradient effect going where it will basically fade from completely transparent to completely visible, in a gradiant kind of way. Anyone know how to do this?

Anyone know how to do this?
Select the layer you want this gradient applied to (can just as well be a plain white background), press the FX button down in the left corner of the "Layers" window. In the scroll menu you pick the "Gradient Overlay" option, a window pops up. Double click the bar that has a black to white gradient in it (it says "Gradient:" to the left of it). Now you get a lot of presets as well as the gradient itself on the bottom of this new window that pops up. You will notice there are FOUR blocks with arrows pointing at the gradient, two on top and two on the bottom. Click on the top left block. Notice that in the bottom "Opacity" and "Location" are possible to edit. This is the block that tells Photoshop what opacity the gradient will have at this position (where the block is positioned). Simply change it from "100" to "0". The bottom blocks are obviously the gradient colour. Clicking anywhere above or below the gradient (where your mouse is shaped into a hand) will create a new block. Now you are done, the second block to the right is already at 100 since it's standard.
Worked beautifully, Thanks!
poster [img_thumb]http://www.jaanus.cc/pictures/advendikontsert2010_sml.jpg[/img_thumb]
Awesome, when I see that poster on the street I'll know who made it.
poster [img_thumb]http://www.jaanus.cc/pictures/advendikontsert2010_sml.jpg[/img_thumb]
That's one busy background that distracts my eyes greatly, it doesn't help that you also pixelated white blocks around the text.
i was never a huge fan of the intentional pixelation thing, i think it would look better blurred, like lights in the distance u know
it was bokeh before I started out, haha.
