This and that is a different matter.

Well that's actually more possible.
Live Trace usually makes much sharper and harsher shapes.
Cutout makes it more... grungy and ugly.
But Vector Magic is like right inbetween, so yeah I think you're right.

Honestly, the hand looks like a foot to me.
I hope that isn't what your feet look like. If you do, then I have some news for you.

Also, what does the text say? Hard for me to read.

It's kind of bad but I like it
The cracks are waaayy too sharp, and the faucet looks like it's on the wall not her.
The skull Mona Lisa was a nice touch, though.

I know, it was the last thing I threw on.
And I couldn't get the faucet, or the cracks right.

Pespi instead of rating dumb can you point me towards what would look better? I generally want some help to make it look the best it can and to be honest I didn't like the characters anyway. So if anyone knows what style of characters would suit the backgrounds could you please share?
It's just so incredebly generic there's aboslutely no sense of originality.
There are bazillion flash games with the exact same colour and character stile.
Come up with something completely different and original.
I'll see what I can do. Originality I could do but different colours? There are only so many colours in the world, not sure I can make up some new colours :frog:
Don't worry I get what you mean about the colours; their nothing special just quite plain and boring. I want them human, stylized and but not to abstract and unnatural, the problem is drawing anything human its bound to look like something someone else has done :/
I was thinking doing them in 3D and importing them into flash as 2D images but I'm not sure if that'll just look weird.
I'd like to add that yes, what Pespi's saying is no easy feat. Just telling someone to go out and make something completely new is an easy thing to say, but not easy for the artist to do (without being a great deal experienced/talented).
Thing is, he's right. You gotta do what he says. It really is the ultimate way to be making it look better. Try new stuff, stuff that you yourself have thought of doing, rather than using a generic style that is used by so many others. You pull it off, and you win big time.

gaaaahhhh you ninja
Yer, But I'll keep trying. Like all art; you just keep trying then one day you just suddenly get it right.

-snip-
colours are just too murky and I bet they're swatches.
what I use to avoid the generic colour feel is that I sometimes go for the washed down, bleached colours for a lovely retro feel.
But it doesn't always work and it has to match ther est of the style.
Art: Take acid = New ideas.
Seriously, it's all like BAM.

And then you realize what you thought was a masterpiece is actually just incoherent shit.

I tried to soften the cracks, and added a better shadow for the faucet.
And took out a crack that I thought brought it down.
Oh and another thing, if anyone knows how to create pretty realistic light rays, I wanted to have some cracks or holes in the floor and have some light coming from there.
tryed at succeeding at a new paiting technique.
After a while I just started rushing it cause I wanted to sleep and I dont think I'll ever colour it or sign it.

Tomorrow brings a new attempt!
She's kinda modelled after my friend, to whom I promiced that she'd be the superintendant of armored forces, once the world is mine.
Your friend has a beak like that? Ouch.
Awesome lighting and pose though. Wonderful anatomy (as I have come to expect).
now if you'd look at it for some time you'd notice that the anatomy is quite verily off indeed, especially proportions. I twaked the hand a little and created a bag of excuses with my subtle update I just finished.
Yeah but I am a shit artist and I don't look at things properly and I'm too busy with my dick up your ass to notice so sorry.
your anatomy fucking sucks go outside you asshole
still missing about something regarding head up my arse?
