Not time consuming art, I guess just art by what it means to me.
I think gray instead of black and bit lighter green. It's in center it's a bit irritating.

Adding those extra words seems to have detracted from the meaning of it. To me, at least. I don't know, I guess I'm just that kind of person who can find a lot written in the simplicity; just two words to be seen, but they can mean oh so much if you look hard enough.
And you've barely changed the colouring at all. I also think a lighter green and grey would work better.
you should play around with the font sizes.

Didn't like the way it was coming out so I stopped drawing and haphazardly colored it.

Started my portrait project today. It's probably my best work so far. I feel like I really have control over charcoal now. It doesn't intimidate me.

You don't need practise with a tablet you need traditional practise.

took a few minutes today just to fix some things up
made the book look better, added shadows around the edges of the ear and shadows in the nostrils, and darkened the shadows everywhere else.

don't really care about working on this any further, i want to keep it fairly minimalistic
just move the hands a little bit so that the thumbs are behind the book. It should improve a lot.

I have a tablet, lol. I don't even draw. At all. I just use it as an expensive mouse mat. The reason I have it is because my dad bought one and then he later bought a new one and gave me the one one. He does photography and photo-manipulation as a hobby.

I'd like to think I'm a bit more polite than that.
You say "thanks for the lovely gift, gradma" hug her tight then once you get to your room, you put it nicely into a cubbard and then practise drawing so that one day you can take it out and start working on digital.

i dont see what the problem is with using a tablet to draw even if you suck
people are just using the wrong programs to practise with
photoshop = no
i really like using microsoft onenote for tablet sketches
it produces nice sketchy results without any effort, it's basically the same as pencil to paper but with richer and thicker lines
i mean hey, i suck at drawing too
doesnt stop me from using a tablet to sketch retarded things

Photoshop is one of the best programs for tablet.
One thing is just doodling about, when you don't really give a fuck about improvement. Sure for laughs enjoy your bamboo fun.
But if you're like "Ohai I wanna be a freelaenc artist and imma bought this intunious 4l drawing thing " and keep drawing tablet only with no traditional backgroudn you're headed for some fucked up shit.
I'm giving up tablet for a week or so to practise some anatomy for example, because tablet is confusing me and I need some muscle memory.
Also it's rather good that I act like everyones trying to become the next picasso.
