I need those too.

Also designing a battlesuit based on tigerII design.
Hopefully I'll get around building a scale model someday.
With the noses?Or without? Which is more effective?

noeses add just so much more
Oh, and ignore the change in hair on George.
No noses just makes them four random dudes, the noses add some personality to it.
Go with noses.
I will go with noses then.

Is it obvious who they're supposed to be, by the way?
Not completely obvious, but it's fairly easy to guess.
The Beatles numb-nuts.
Really? I thought Spice Girls.
Ugh, Tokyo Hotel?
I was under the impression it was the four greatest artists through all time ;
Vanilla Ice, Justin Bieber, and the two singers from Duran Duran
:suicide:
Duran Duran
Duran Duran are awesome.
Did some anatomy-pose practise yesterday. 26 poses, if I hadn't taken pauses every few pose to do other stuff, it woudn'tve taken me more than 1.5 hours.
Would've doen more but ran out of paper.

Try getting more paper and drawing the poses bigger. That always helped me, even with the shorter poses.
It's a lot harder to get the anatomy down when you're trying to fit the model into little corners.
was trying to be fast as well, so I shrunk them to conserve time.
random gif testing out some shit. Basically im going to make a series of gifs/.SWF's with jelly cubes/rectangles fighting for their honour and glory

DONT YOU JUST LOVE RECTANGLES!?
if you put more effort into weapon deails, [del]cool[/del] any shading effects on cube and better blood I'd be more intrested in it.

This.
Where do you guys get your inspiration from? I joined my Yearbook class thinking I could make graphics for other people's pages and do tons of page layouts but it turns out the class is shit at working together and we aren't even working for a theme ON PURPOSE! In my Interactive Media class last year we at least had projects where he gave us ideas as to what to go for but now... I am at a loss.
I need inspiration guys... I need to create something! I haven't made something I've been proud of in months since my Illustrator Pen tracing of the UN logo.

(I had to change the color because of the swatches the people publishing our Yearbook have)
Original

Don't use the pen tool in photoshop. Use Illustrator or Flash instead.
Instead of spending all of your time inside (I'm not saying you do), go outside and look EVERYWHERE. I don't mean run down alleys and bother bums but just look around.

Everyone hates the pen tool.
But why?
Also using the Pen Tool in Photoshop still gives you a vector shape (as long as the option is ticked off), so to change to Illustrator just to use the EXACT SAME tool seems incredibly silly.
I did use it in Photoshop because I found it easier to get the hang of than Illustrators Penn Tool.
I do get to go outside but I live in Norfolk. farm fields and trees. Not my style of art if you know what I mean?
I never liked the pen tool. Ever.
I can't draw a straight line in photoshop to save my life and I still refuse to use the pen tool. Because I fucking hate it.

My style of art is crazy fucking nazis and lovecraftian monsters and I can still appreciate a nice foggy morning in farm country.
For straight line hold shift then draw :eng101:
Not that it's anywhere near useful in actual drawing.
We now have a separate thread for this inspirational bullshit chitchaterry.
do we have another thread for it? Sorry I didn't know we did.
I know the coloring is lazy as fuck, but I tried to give it a sort of concept art like style

You may want to work with some more value, everything looks pretty flat.

Vector like real men do.
Spend $700 on Flash CS4.
Cry whenever you see your bank balance.
