Could you give the coins ridges on the edges or something? Or a dollar sign on their faces or something like that (or the same "C" that is in the title)? Right now they sort of look like eggs.

Actually they might even look more like eggs now because your bevelled markings on the coins don't match the perspectives you have tried to create on the coins, if that makes any sense.

make normal, circular coins and just use the transform tool in photoshop. and add anti-aliasing.

And also didn't fiddle with the lightning and just kept it like Illustrator shaded it. Although, with that being said you should shine up the gold coins a bit.

i want to do a minimalist black swan poster for a friend lets brainstorm what about a spotlight coming from the top onto a silhouette of a dancing black swan but thats too simple i need something that gets across the darker themes. it could be a white swan dancing with the shadow of a black swan omg hlep
