I still don't feel as if the pose of the secret agent is correct. Too stiff.
Do you have a camera? Make a picture of yourself in the desired pose. Or if you have one of those wooden anatomy doll-things you could shape that in the correct position.
Alrighty imma fiddle with it later
Reposting with a Youtube link. A small remix of Triage at Dawn (SuitSong) done by ear.

Tell me what you think.
I'm giving someone Fallout: New Vegas for Christmas and I need criticism on this card.

I don't understand why you people buy tablets.

general advice: don't post 'first tries'
Where can I find decent "How to learn Photoshop step by step"? I've look everywhere, but I could only find tutorials on making effects, not detailed from beginner to expert. (or something in those lines)
I'd like to know Photoshop a bit better before I actually start drawing. Thanks in advance. (I didn't think this deserved it's own thread)
Rusty, you should do a poster for "A Zed and Two Noughts." If you haven't seen it, you should. Weird, but really well-directed. Lots of potential for a symbolic poster.

took some time
See thats creative work that DOES deserve a thread. Looks superb.
Edit : to both 2 above pieces.
Half of the stuff in this thread is of higher quality than the stuff on... the outside.
Ok! CC it's time for us to prepare ourselves.
Christmas morning has past and that means a number of utterly useless, chauvinistic children who have just received that drawing tablet they always wanted even though they have never picked up a pencil and attempted to draw before, are about to post some of there first attempt shit-of-a-piece-of-art and then get really angry when someone offers some C&C or points out that its shit and they should put away the tablet until they can draw.
I put forward the advice to rate them dumb and comment if you do not mind them having a paddy.

Are you trying to say that they are different than anyone else that makes new threads for their first tries at anything? Or just really shitty artists that think they're good overall?
Are there any good free drawings programs that work well with tablets? I was using Corel Painter Sketch Pad, but it's not stable at all.

I would say get Photoshop, seems like all the digipainters use that.
So I am an uncle. I have shaped my nephews into the perfect children, they are videogame savvy 8 and 11 year olds with an unmatched passion for HL2 and Garry's Mod. I have a long standing tradition of making them wooden toy guns as normal plastic toy guns not only look like garbage, but also break very quickly. This year, the eldest, Dru deserved something special. I decided that I was going to bite the bullet, or in this case the energy ball, and make him a wooden gun unrivaled by any other. I was running short on time so here now at the end of Christmas day it's still not finished. It needs to be painted and decals applied but I figured you guys needed to see this work.
Behold, a full 1/1 scale Combine Overwatch Standard Infantry Pulse Rifle, or AR2! (Still needs final sanding, paint and decals)

This is what I gave him today, printed out and enclosed in a manilla envilope wrapped in "Overwatch Top Secret" decals and seals. He loved it even though I didn't physically have the gun yet.

It's a beast, and really a blast. I love letting the inner-kid in me get a hold of power tools.
Aww, I wish I had an uncle like you.

It's img_thumb'd.
Help me out here, I need something along the lines of anatomy criticism, if a paint over could be provided that would be great. I'll be aiming for a pin-up so the better the "female assets" the better. I feel like there's an ass missing. I want to get the shape right before I venture into the painting process.

First lesson: don't dress pin-up girls like $30 hookers.

I think I said I wanted anatomy criticism, nothing is definitive in there, I just needed some clothes and that was the fastest and easiest I could think of.

Sorry it was just the first thing I noticed.
Erm lets see... her torso looks a bit tall (long?) I'm sorry I don't know loads about anatomy, there doesn't seem to be anything immediately apparent though so it must be pretty good.
hey guys, I don't usually post in these here parts but I sketched up this character concept art for a game I am making. I went as fast as possible to try and not over do just a concept. If you guys could maybe critique my character that would be awesome. The character is what I am really interested in, I know that it is a really rough drawing.

This bomb guy would be fired out of a cannon into a castle and then find a good place to explode by rolling around and bouncing.
You guys are awesome at art I would love to learn new things.

I wasn't trying to be rude, I'm sorry if you interpreted it that way.
