Cleaner lines and strokes go a long way towards a more quality look, start with that
Thanks, i understand what you're saying, and i agree, it really does give the drawing a " more quality look " but these drawings, i wanted to look a bit more... Rugged, if you will. For example, if i were drawing a fruit in art class, i would keep it very clean, instead of having multiple strokes on each segment, like these. Since these are guns and soldier(s) i just wanted them to seem more down and dirty.
seems like people think my work is pretty dumb, I suppose you won't be glad to know.. I MADE MORE!
Don't do a million short strokes, do a few long ones. Not only do they look more fluent but usually display the geometry better since it's not all jagged up.

They don't look down and dirty, they look badly drawn.

I worked on this one for a while, It's supposed to be sort of a future soldier, i'm horrible at drawing legs though, especially with a mouse, so i'll try and touch up on those later

This was supposed to be an AWP, or L96A1 at first, but i guess it turned out looking more like a WA2000

Drop the tablet it's inducing bad habits. You can learn easier if you start from traditional.
And Pling, the poses were the first one to come from my head.
It's just a doodle.

Thanks for the input, i'll take what you said into consideration, seeing as you seem to have been using this site for 6 years, meaning clearly you know more about it than me, although i must admit that your last comment did offend me.

Truth hurts, that's the way of life.
And if you don't have a tablet, forget drawing on pc. Either get a tablet or draw on paper. Drawing with mouse on pc will get you nowhere.

True, my artwork with a mouse may not be as good as with paper, but i think it's pretty fun, and i may become better at it with practice, i'll use this criticism to further progress. People may think my work is " Dumb " but i'll just post my work that's a little better from now on.
Thank you.

Didn't mean it to sound that harsh, sorry. My point was that jagged strokes like that will make the linework look unfinished and crude.
About drawing with mouse, it might be better to try and practice your drawing skills traditionally with pen and paper, and colouring them on the computer after scanning, for example. Mouse isn't exactly the most intuitive art interface as I'm sure you've noticed. ;)

Diskless will always be Dickless to me.
Back in the old days Scorpio, when we were all small retards making Gmod comics... That's how things were back then.

If you're really bent on using a mouse, use references too.

Another possible design for a shirt. I was thinking of drawing blood on him, but i'm not sure how effective that be.
Frankly, they all look terrible.
Have you ever looked at a proper tilt shift and looked at how Lomo photographs and vintage photographs look like?
And what the hell is the difference between LOMO and vintage? Lomo is a old-school camera that takes pictures on film that are vintage.
The whole vintage effect is bad processing of the film or just from having the picture layed out for too long.
Its our first assignment in class and this my first time using GIMP/Photoshop seriously. I'm not saying their the best things on the fucking planet but I just followed what the tutorials told me to do. I know for the vintage they weren't the best images because the guy said I really needed a deep blue sky for it to work properly but I don't have any blue skies where I am now.
Also side note....Its hard to not see what Lomo, Tilt Shift and vintage look like when the tutorials always show examples :v:
I had to make five of each so here's another Lomo. I'm going to remake the vintage images using a set I took from Mt.Fuji during my People to people trip through Japan.

Let the kid post his stuff. Atleast he put it in a right place.
and hey, he managed to sign it with a mouse
Don't be mean about mouses. You might hurt a vector artists feelings.

Vector artists can go die in a pit of infinitely detailed fire.
unless they happen to be moderators in which case i have only the best feelings for them right guys
Haven't drawn in such a long time. Thought I'd relax and try to draw a bit just to practice. Ended up with my task being to re-draw the "mascot" I made in middle school for the friendly circlejerk clan I am in.
Ended up with this so far, dunno if I'll bother continuing on it. I suck at chosing dark colours, I like things so smooth that it ruins everything I try to make because I easily find shadows colours to become too dark, and well, I end up with something way too bright and washed out because I want it all to blend, no matter how much I try to avoid to do so. Also forced myself to first draw with a big brush and then afterwards use a smaller one to get the details. Oh, and avoiding sketching any details at all because I end up doing that until the sketch becomes a fucked up finished piece of mess and then I don't feel like doing the whole process over again in colours, plus it looks fucked up by then anyways so I usually give up.
BLA BLA BLA BLAHRG! SHUT UP ALREADY, ME!
At least I'm improving without even practicing. Even though it's, yeah...

Really hate how his head looks like. Criticize the shit out of it if you can be bothered.
Reference didn't load for me.
Other than that, you really need to bump up the values. It's so flat and under-contrasted right now. The face should be shaded with more colours too, not just variations on pale skintone that only alter in value but not hue.
Got bored, made it in an hour or 2.

I like it but I think something is off about the flame, also might be too centered.

Along as what Chesty said, you also need to use less grey in your hues, I know photoshop seems to mix in grey for some reason but you have to try and over come that. Try shading with a purplyorange instead.

That's a handy one. Seen a bunch of skin tutorials in my life, but this one is quite a lot more effective and right down to the point.
