Along as what Chesty said, you also need to use less grey in your hues, I know photoshop seems to mix in grey for some reason but you have to try and over come that. Try shading with a purplyorange instead.
This little tutorial, I think is great for some tips on shading skin.
It's because of photoshop being a colour managed environment. You need to play with the colour settings to get the right look. If it changes when you pull it into another application, you need to change your colour settings.
I meant within the application itself, when I mix colours- after a while the colours seem to get muddied and more grey.
I didn't mean when pulling the files into other programs.
You need to keep your original colours separate, that's what's supposed to happen when you keep selecting from what you've got. It's not a photoshop problem, it's a workflow problem.
Got bored, made it in an hour or 2.

Very horrible.
Everyrtthing loogs smudgey, thelight conditions don't correspond to the backgorund, the cloth looks just bad, anatomy is non existant as are proportions and the face looks borderline silly.
Throw away the goddamn tablet and learn traditionally how anatomy and proportion works god damnit. LEarn to walk before you run.
Did a quick speedpaint again. I was gonna draw a crew tending the plane but then got bored and slapped some colour on it in 3 minutes.

Not bad for a quickie but needs some depth perception(the rear fins) and perspektive(like the wheels=

Uhh, I don't think it is. I don't have the patience to hand pick every single colour in a gradient. I've never had the same problem with other image editing/ painting program.

You could be right, but my colours are always more muted in photoshop compared to real life materials and other programs.

Oh yeah I just noticed how the nearest wheel is bigger. But you're right you don't really get the sense of depth from it. The crew working on it would have shown the scale a lot better as well as darkening the foreground more maybe.
I know it's just a quick fun sketch but the wings are too chubby and small and the fuselage is a bit short.

Add depth fog?

I am posting it to get some criticism. I ran out of ideas of improvement. Please, don't tell me that it is bad. I see it is not what it is meant to be. Better suggest me something or link to some tutorials if you want. Thanks.
P.S. The white hole in his head is not my mistake, I will put an emblem there later.
Damn worst pageking of times.
What is it?
I honestly can't see what it is supposed to be. Filename suggest it's a soldier.
Nevermind then.

and Blue totality. This took allot of work. Only 1 filter was used the rest is very repetitive strokes. it has a very neat effect with lcd screens if you move your head up and down. idk if such effect works with other screens.
oooh boy
here we go.

IT is bad. There's no point coninuing it, it looks like random textures smashed together with silly eyes slapped onto it and hole in the head.
You really need to learn how to things traditionally. This looks really, really, really, really horrible. And I spy a little plastic warp filter.
Learn how to draw with pencil and paper first

from what I see I looks like a profile picture of a soldier wearing a helmet similar to that of Master Chief's... But the Circle (I'm guessing his eyes) are too big and nothing in this picture determines That this drawing is Remotely similar to a human... I don't know what the hell this blue thing at his neck is, but that's what made me not notice it was a human in the first place.
Sorry I can't link you to any tutorials since I don't now any myself.

These are all really, really, really bad they're eyerape in purest format. Didn't you once stop and think "Wait, what the fuck am I doing?"? IF you didn't you're trolling for sure.
I mean, it's like one of those really horrible car crashes that happen and wheres alot of blood and cut off limbs and fire and it's really bad but you can't just look away.
IT's just pure, unleaded filter rape with some horrible mouse drawing in the middle with lacking anatomy proportion an sense the barbarian conan thingy lacks anatomy and proportions. Seriously learn to do traditional arts then move onto something else. LEarn to crawl before you stand up. It teatches you pencil control easier and you can't use filters.
Okay, thanks guys. But I will continue it anyways, since if I would abandon everything without trying to make it good I will not learn anything.
Thanks for criticism Red. Really helps.
You won't learn anything from that. It was flawed from the start.
Start drawing with pencil and paper, it's easier to help you out there.
Uhm yeah, not my best work
trying some different shading

And I fucking love industrial chimneys and smog.

I will remake it. But not abandon.

Cute new technique but you got some depth problems. The fence goes into silhouette too fast and the dude looks really flat and lacks sense of depth. Especially his left arm area, you could use some air perspective on him. Also consistency issues like the facility on the left being much further but not in the fog as the chimneys on the right which are 2m behind the super-sharp facility and yet behind alot of air-perspective.
